Hi forum,
I’m from South Korea the republic of gamers. Came pretty long way around to discuss about current hot issue in Korea.
We are all very excited to hear the announcement from Blizzard about opening WoW Classic.
There’s very disappointing yet very upsetting news from Blizzard Korea about Wow Classic. We Koreans will only have one server. Yes, just one server, and it is even a PVE server.
We who play World of Warcraft know how PVP server is important and how PVP server is suited for the concept of the vanilla experience.
We had stress test started on 3 AM. Man, 3 AM. Who wakes up at 3 in the morning to participate the stress test? I understand it is managed by Blizzard HQ. Stress test was monitored mostly 2 hours from the server opened which was 3 AM to 5 AM. We had some players at the moment. I assume there were about 600 players in the server between 3AM and 5AM based on researching online players on both factions.
I understand that compared to NA server, KR server population isn’t that huge. I understand we will have less servers. But I do not understand that how come Taiwan have 2 servers one in PVE one in PVP. Based on Korea and Taiwan stress test users research, both countries had about 60K players through out the test period. I think Blizzard should’ve given us at least an option to choose either roll on PVE or PVP.
Blizzard, please take care about your the most fan country South Korea. Blizzard Korea is losing more gamers every seconds.
Give us an opportunity to enjoy the same experience we had back in the days.
