Hello, newer forsaken warrior player here, just started playing seriously like a week ago 
but now i’m in the mid 50’s for level, and i kinda want a Kodo as a mount but i do not know if i have to level up my Thunderbluff reputation in order to obtain it. I’m currently honored, and i don’t know how far the reputation meter actually goes until i can actually get a Kodo mount.

Yes, you’ll need to be exalted with them. Equipping a tabard and running dungeons is a fairly quick way to get the reputation

You can also do the Tauren starter quests in Mulgore. I think it’ll get you up to Revered or close to Revered.
Easiest thing to do is roll a tauren and level him or her to a point where they can get the mount. Mounts being account bound really killed the need to max rep w/ them.

Why not roll a tauren just for this? You’ll get the mount without rep and can still use it on your other toons right?

Look, ignore those noobs and hear me up:
Create a lvl 100 Tauren trial, go to where they sell those mounts, and bought them all 
Option 2:
Create lvl 1 tauren, level it all the way to lvl 20 (it will take nothing) and use 10-50 gold to get every kodo mount.
Do the same for all racial mounts

You can also get the Black War Kodo in Org. The Black War mounts don’t require rep when I was working for them and only require 15 Marks of Honor.

This reminded me. How do you get marks of honor now? I stockpiled a ton during Korrack’s but ran out before I bought all of the assorted ensembles I liked.
Sorry if this is a dopey question, my pvp days ended back when you had to gather various marks from the 3 different BGs for the war mounts.
If you want the ultimate Kodo mount then you’ll need to level up and grab the super rare and elusive Frightened Kodo mount in BfA’s version of Darkshore.

Do elite/normal BGs
Per victory = 2 marks± , maybe 0
Per defeat = 0-1 marks
Or just spam 2vs2/3vs3 arenas xD
Capping conquest for the weapon mogs gave me 200+ from 14 alts so is not that bad if you do it enough (and that was after expending in some legion pvp sets, all Black War mounts and some draenor mogs)

There is a hidden requirement tho, you need not to eat any cow meat.
I got most of mine going through random BGs but that was a while ago so IDK what the rate is like now (Answered above 
). Back when I was getting my Black War mounts most of the BGs had their own currency. I also mained a Tauren Shaman and they could not ride the racial Hawktriders, Raptors, or Undead Horses. The vendor gave a smug response about your size so the Black War mounts were the only way I could use those mounts.

Get lucky in brewfest. I think thats my only Kodo.
I am not a fan of playing Tauren.
As opposed to the “new players”: Hi, I haven’t played in almost two months lol, where is the Brutosaur vendor?

If you’re a completionist like me, this will be the first of many exalted reputations you’ll get.
If you roll a tauren paladin, you will also end up with 2 paladin class mounts that are kodos usable only by your paladin, of course.
