We’re working on some stability fixes for our Public Alpha build. There’s a few server crashes that cause disconnects, and sometimes it makes the Alpha realms (Halduron, Liadrin, and Lor’themar) appear offline. We’re looking into this but it’s getting late in the day so we probably won’t be able to fix it fully and completely until tomorrow.

So what your saying is their pretty much done for the day as trying to fix the issue and their gonna stay offline?
They’re not actually offline, it’s just a bug making them appear offline, but yes, if they’re showing offline you’re likely unable to log back in til tomorrow when fixed.
I will say, it happened to me earlier, and then I kept the servers up and eventually they did pop back on for me, despite them being up the entire time.
So you could try that too.
Otherwise we can hang tight and wait for them to fix tomorrow, they definitely deserve their night of rest!

Good news! We have resolved the issue that was causing realms to appear offline. We may have to restart realms to fix other issues, but those should be brief outages as is normal for an Alpha or PTR test.

What’s up with servers again? They all are offline…
Looks some bug with running multiple instance servers I’ve been told. Hopefully they can fix it before the weekend, super keen to play!

Did they just go down again for anyone else? I was in game and it disconnected me. When I went to reconnect, the realms are showing as offline now.
Yes, they’ve been up and down a lot today. Alpha’s gonna alpha! I’ve got one character on one test realm and one on another so that I can bop between whichever is up at the time.
Same issue re-occurring i guess.
We’re pushing out one final change before the weekend that we hope we resolve both the disconnects and the realm appearing offline. Realms will be coming down shortly and back up around 15 minutes after that. Cross your fingers!

They haven’t appeared online for me since the Alpha came up on my launcher, and now the Alpha option itself is gone and displays under War Within Beta.
I had mine getting wonky yesterday with all the launcher issues. Alpha disappeared and went back to the TWW Beta, but then it reappeared after a while (and fresh launcher restart).
EDIT:
Just launched Alpha and Halduron is offline but Liadrin and Lor’themar realms are up. Guess it is time to make new characters on the ones that are up right now. Hopefully, Halduron will come back up soon.
Yep, just Halduron offline (same boat for me) - but other 2 realms are fine. Lucky I got a few characters/classes I want to make & play!
Try see if any updates for Battle.Net Launcher, restart it completely (kill Battle.net.exe in task manager) and then login and try again. Had this happen the other day and a full clean restart of the launcher fixed it.
I think it’s something odd, like I’m not actually meant to have access, because I don’t see the usual realms like when we’re on PTR with the short list. I have the full realm list for US/OCE/LA/Brazil.
