Knight class

Knight in warcraft 2 and 3 where the strongest melee fighter the alliance could create same for the horde.

Warrior would be the cheapest and weakest character that exist by lore itself since any warrior when ascending to heroic class would become something else Blade Master being one of them.

The reason i use warcraft 3 is because it was the direct influence to vanilla wow every that come after irrelevant to me.

Not gonna lie, prestige classes would be pretty sweet.

The talents dont give enough class identity for what they’re supposed to represent, but I guess that’s what retail does with the class specializations.

I think retail is just light years too far now.

Warrior, but because Tom Chilton was employed by Blizzard in mid beta, warrior went from an entry level class to god tier. Paladin went from the interesting class to the easy one. Beta vanilla was actually really cool, but it was also not perfect.

Everyone thinks warriors are weak because they lack magic that other classes have, yet I can go toe to toe with some of the mightiest spell casters in Azeroth. A powerful warlock can shadow bolt me, which sounds impressive, but that measly thing doesn’t hurt anymore than a blade to the gut.

tell me if anything that ever existed was perfect

not a lot man

Ummm… have you ever had a blade in the gut?

I assume it hurts like a son of a bark.

Are you saying warlocks and warriors are weak? Implying the shadow bolts don’t hurt and your blade to gut is on the same par?

I’ve taken both shadow bolts and many blades to the gut, both are equally unimpressive.

Paladins were broken as hell during beta. lmao

Imagine warriors with stealth and mirror images just like blademasters, that’s the dream.

I think rogues would be more blade master material. They weren’t very tanky, but did massive damage.

For warriors, I would actually think along the lines of like a mountain king.

dude the blade master was not a rogue. ffs Grom
Hellscreem was an alteration of a blade master.

Not as broken as warriors are now, and by modern classic standards paladin from beta would still be garbage.

They tend to fight like rogues, in and out finding weak opponents or easy caster targets.

Where is the warrior aspect, warriors tend to fight toe to toe. Blade masters use tricks just like rogues.

Blade master is a rogue able to ambush backstab with a two handed blade.

Warrior stances are based off human units.

IMO they are a mix of warrior and monk.

Hero units don’t really fit with the core WoW Classes. Voljin/Rokhan are a mix of shaman, priest and hunter.

Yup, and why the classes in game are different than the hero units of old.

Warriors were garrrrrbage compared to paladins in beta. They utterly gutted Seal of the Crusader right before the game went live.

I wouldn’t say warriors are to blame, but they’re definitely one of the shining reasons they switched to “ratings” for secondary stats in BC.
