Knee Jerk Tuning

The last time a knee jerked for Frost DK was about 570 days ago LOL

I mean it’s clear blizzard didn’t put a lot of effort into a lot of class and spec trees.

I’m super disappointed in ww myself

I think the point he was trying to make (not that you will get it with your witch hunt banner out) is that ret before the nerf was easily cc able killable kiteable you take away that damage and now by the time they catch up to anyone they hit like a wet noodle so kite until you die even if you catch someone now you cannot kill them either.

Meanwhile MM hunters… Lol

So many people have already disproven that fact

should not have gotten nerfed. Even rank 1 paladin main’s are saying its competing for worst spec in the game with boomie and that playing with any other spec is an automatic 300 rating.

So if its disproven state the facts specifically that disprove it. Otherwise you’re just stroking.

Holy cow is this spot on! Had I not resubbed I wouldn’t have!!

You forgot all the other nerfs they added on top, atm a full stacked radiant does about the same dmg as wake does by itself. Radiant is actually a dead talent now, theres no point using 3 holy power when wake does the same dmg and gives holy power instead.

The countless amount of screenshots of how much damage they were doing outside of cool downs anyways on these forums.

If you haven’t seen a single one then it ain’t I that’s stroking

Did quite a few matches last night and rets were still trucking. Most games rets were on top overall by quite a large amount.

Proof that you don’t play ret on retail and are only reading the tooltips on attack power scaling on wowhead.

Either that or you are playing too many BGs

Lol good luck if finding what toons i actually play really matter if you really want to waste all that time, which is time you could be investing in learning to play the game. I do pvp, thats why i was able to point out your horrendous flaws in your statements that makes zero sense.

Rets are also hard countered by any competent caster, especially if it has any cc ability or even a pvp trinket…

Elite set is 1800 and SL pvp max ilvl was duelist , I never needed to go past 2.1 bozo, I only care about gear I don’t fiend over rating but I know u don’t have enough to be speaking on pvp tho. Wdym no rating, I’ve already hit duelist on my ret this season are u slow?. Got my wars elite set aswell, if ur gonna talk sht make sure you got ur facts right you look dummer with each post.

There isn’t a single spc in the game that’s “hard” to execute it’s damage on except MAYBE arcane because of how much micro setup there is.

Doing damage in World of Warcraft requires a single brain cell and can be mastered on a training dummy in like 5 minutes.

Ret’s skillcap, much like every spec in the game, is knowing how / when to live and play defensively and how to get value out of utility.

The more utility you have generally the higher the skillcap. Ret has a lot of unique utility (sanc, bop, sac, freedom, judge dispel) that counters a lot of teams if used properly.

I can always tell someone that knows nothing about the game when they think how a spec does damage is what makes them good and not their insane amounts of game changing utility.

I’m not saying ret is super good right now but all of you are so hard on how much damage a spec does because you know absolutely nothing about the game and are forgetting the value your utility gets, from healers perspective:

Sanc: Insane value to in hunters, rogues, shadow priests, Ret Warrior, DH DK, root beam

Freedom: Hard Counts root beam. If you have negative brain cells and yolo’d it before root beam you have sanc.

Sac: 30% wall you can press on whoever you want once a minute

BoP: Removing deathmark, feral frenzy, saves healers trinket on blinds

Judge Dispel: Trap my healer kekw. Insane in to mages too for obvious reasons. Good luck every getting flame shocks / immos out

I’m not saying any of this to say that ret doesn’t lose to these comps but like when you guys exclusively discuss damage profiles as to how good a spec is or isn’t meanwhile playing with a ret from a healer PoV means you’re basically never going to sit CC and you miss the value of that it’s like yeah you’re 1400.
