Lvl 22 rogue. I cannot pickpocket the key from the zombie with the spikes. Anytime I pickpocket him it just says the target has already been pickpocketed, but I do not have the key. I have killed the target and tried once it respawned but to no avail.
Are there any fixes or advice to remedy this? I cannot progress my Rogue questline because of it.
If the mob is inside a dungeon, then you would need to go outside the dungeon and reset it. Otherwise, you can only pickpocket certain mobs and once done, you need to go elsewhere to pickpocket other mobs. If this is for a quest, make sure you are not part of a raid group as most quests cannot be completed in raid groups unless they are raid quests.
It’s not a dungeon quest, it is a rogue quest located in the south east of Westfall at Klaven’s Tower. The Defias Tower Key has to be pickpocketed from a mob there, the Malformed Defias Drone. Anytime I try to pickpocket it, it just says it has already been pickpocketed yet I do not have the key. Killing the mob and allowing it to respawn did not work.
Is this in Classic or in the retail version?
