Youâre playing one of the easiest classes in content where they were strongestâŚyet an arms warrior, which many consider âonly a debuffâ is out dpsing you on several fights.
survival hunter on kil jaeden is pretty difficult to play properly within the context of classic, he has similar mechanics that you do with his swing timer vs your slam, but he has a pet to manage which is difficult because melees run into it with bloom, it also needs to be recalled for every shield, plus he has to switch to shield orbs which is a dramatic dps loss. Arms warriors are outdamaging surv in sunwell by like 200 dps at the top end

Except it isnât harder. Hunters have exponentially more utility in terms of survival on fights and less rng associated with positioning. Manure doesnât even melee weave if you look at his parses. The optimal hunters do, but a lot of them are using AutoHotKey + WAs to essentially automate their melee weaves. Unless you do the stack in front of KJ strat hunters wonât be melee weaving. So no, it is not like an arms warriorâs slam weave. Hunters are objectively one of the easier classes to play in TBC Classic, especially with the multitude of WAs that take any of the work they used to have to do out of the game.

If you looked at my current logs you will actually see I did melee weave for Brut and twins and when we were stacked for KJ.
Itâs a learning process, however hunter atleast this version is leagues above warriors as far as being complicated.

I mean survival aside when I was BM the pet meant everything, and if it dies youâre dps is dead,.pets around 30% of your dps.

Idk much about slam spec but they said you have to time them like we time our steady shots/auto shots.
Iâm also learning to melee weave which you donât need to do.
Youâre only responsibility is to not be cleaved.
I have to do melee mechanics for my pet and ranged mechanics for myself and sometimes both at the same time.

Nah, hunters are EZ mode. You donât even have to do your weave and youâll still perform wellâŚand even if you do weave you can mess it up with very little punishment in final performance. If you pull threat you can just feign. If the raid is wiping you can just feign. You have less consumes and an AI takes care of a chunk of your dmg.

Hunters are mechanically and objectively one of the easiest classes to play. Range in general is easy. Hunters have it even easier from there.

Lots of missinformation here.
Firstly as BM auto shots are your highest damage, they arenât if youâre clipping.
1 button macro doesnât exist in this version of the game, this is the Legion engine where that was fixed. The old tbc engine the macro wouldnât clip your auto shots with the steady shot macro.
You can add kill command to steady shot and almost all hunters do but you really should also hotkey it because you can cast it while youâre casting a steady shot and you donât want to delay those kill commands, they arenât on the gcd.
Pet management as much as you âthinkâ itâs easy is still objectively harder than you not having to do it. You can dumb down all the things I have to do all you liked they are still things other classes donât need to do, including you.
Yea I definitely didnât perform that well on that kill. Idk why you keep harping on that, it isnât a âgotchaâ moment you think it is, I will still out perform you at the end of phase 5 like I have for phase 1-4.

It went to me cuz I have 100% raid attendance, I just happen to be a hunter.
I should have been a warrior tho for easy mode.
