Just respec boomie, or feral tank, or resto, if you don’t like feral dps. Atleast that doesn’t require starting a new character from level 1. In fact even better, you could just be the best OT as you already have the gear for it.
I wish my prot spec was good or would be good at any point in the next xpac too.
Atleast when rets were crying they were bad in wrath naxx and got buffed their argument was that it was their only dps spec. You have another dps spec that is already top tier.
Atleast you have a spec that does good damage tho Feral DPS isnt even decent damage!!! it is F tier telling us to go RESPEC is stupid!!!

Actually feral has a tank and dps spec that are counted sepertaly so that isnt the case either.
Lol going boomy might not be viable for the raid setup and also requires getting a whole new set of gear!!!
Feral tank also requires a different set of gear and spec. and reforge. Playing Feral is more complex then you actually think.
I don’t think feral should be buffed but I also don’t think it’s equivalent. If you want to play feral and enjoy feral, boomkin might as well be a completely different class. Different gear, different role, obviously completely different buttons.
Feral need a buff they are ranked #20 in damage but are within the top 15 of played class/specs.
i play a Feral dps and play 3rd tank but in Phase 1 we need a 3rd tank for alot of fights. my gm told me that i need to focus more on dps then bear and that my damage is lack luster. and that 2 others have expressed interest in playing feral dps and swapping from their current mains.
( player 1 is a rogue who parses 33.6 highest average parse )
( Player 2 is a Surv hunter who parses 33.3 highest average parse)
( myself has a 78.4 Average parse )
granted we dont have fast kill times which does effect the parse rankings and we also dont run parse starts either.
I told the GM to tell them to check themselves first. Feral is F tier and im doing better then others in the raid!!! There are other people who need to be talked to before myself

Yea, how do you think warriors felt when we did less damage than dk gargoyles in P1 wrath? Arms knew it would never get better. Prot knew it was only downhill from P1 as the got DTPS higher and higher (seriously, compare the amount of prot warrior logs from P1 to P4.) And fury warriors were told to “just wait you’ll scale”. The only fury warriors “scaling” were killing multiple minutes faster than the average.
Our only option was a full reroll. Atleast druids have alternative specs. You’re already level capped and can farm a full set of gear in less time than people have spent arguing in this thread.
Druid only has 1 melee DPS spec!!! Telling us to reroll to a caster is not the solution!!!

Yeah forcing ferals to switch specs or switch classes is like forcing the player to quit the game if they dont see themselves playing those classes
That is the worst way of managing a class, and its clear thousands of ferals quit the game the moment they noticed they are trash on start of cata vs wrath feral population
100% Blizz already said they dont want feral bear weaving but come the next 2 raids bearweaving is going to be encouraged even more!!!

Feral Druids don’t need an Omen glyph. However, if the overall damage of our bleeds were increased by 15%, it would only buff our over all damage by 5-7%.
I’d say the glyph clearly fixed the class in wrath. I’m sure lots of bearweaving druids disagree, but imo, the best iteration of a cat dps class is to encourage mono-cat.
There’s a reason you have Tree, Cat, Bear and Bommie, you are more so or should be encouraged to stay in that form for that specific spec, and the glyphs clearly achieves this.
It helps pve only because of its requirement to do it on non player targets, it encourages cat to stay in cat form and encourages bear to stay in bearform if they are tanking
Yeah, but it also simplified the class significantly, turning it into the flavor of the month. This attracted a lot of players who wouldn’t normally play the class (just like what happened with Fire Mage in Cataclysm).
It didn’t simplify it at all.
The original intent of the class was to mono cat.
If the glyph wasn’t there youd just stare at the screen and wait for energy to go up before pressing ur next button
With the glyph, you got one free ability every 6 seconds. 6 seconds is not a big deal per clearcasting.
Elemental shamans literally got clearcasting EVERYTIME they crit.
Only bearweavers complain about the rotation being made easy.
