The world quest requires you to “slay” King Dazar. However, you do not kill him in the final fight of the dungeon. The quest does not complete because of this. Could you change the requirement of the quest to read “defeat” King Dazar. This way the community would get credit for completion.

I got the same problem when I did it on mythic 0. We defeated King Dazar however it still says 0/1 King Dazar slain.
Blizzard did add in that requirement in 8.3 as Kings’ Rest world quests did not require you to defeat the final boss beforehand. I guess as usual, blizzard screwed up when doing this. Beta for azeroth strikes again.

it’s frustrating to waste your time trying to gear the get nothing…
Especially that 8.3 and the cloak upgrades that we can’t miss… but we need gear to get there in the first place.
Just had this happen in heroic LFG. Really annoying, such a waste of time.

i’ve run it with 2 diff groups and no one got credit. sucks, i needed a trinket o one of my toons and can’t get it.
my group ran it just now, no one got credit for the kill/defeat of King Dazar, i really needed that trinket

I literally ran this on heroic, random, and mythic just to be sure. I guess I just wasted my time, lol. I should have checked the forums sooner.
