Kings of battleground pvp later on?

Hey guys just wondering what classes are likely to be the kings of battlegrounds in the later phases of Classic? As a side question will pvp gear be the best for pvp? I know that I will spend a lot of my time raiding but I think after that the majority will be spent in battlegrounds.

I will probably raid on Tuesday and Thursday but then be spending an hour or two in battlegrounds every other night. Will I need to grind rank 14 to have the best gear for pvp? Just wanted to have a few questions answered before I sink a ton of time into Classic. Thanks!

Coincidentally, these are also the most hellish to level. They make up for it later. In spades.

Honorable mention: Druid (FC WSG)

Not exclusively, no.

You’ll need to do this to have the best gear that is available through PvP, yes. And you won’t do it with “an hour or two in battlegrounds every other night”. Not even close.

Warriors with pocket healers, warlocks, mages, rogues.

A Warrior with good support and gear is the end game king of battle grounds.

Mortal strike, improved overpower for the crit, and execute so you only have 80% life vs them.

Other classes have rolls, loke point prtection and flag running but for raw killing power its going to be warrior.

Ranged. Hunters, Warlocks, Mages. In AV anyway.

In WSG and AB where fights are smaller, melee gets a chance to shine.

The kings of the BGs are always the groups that work well together, regardless of class.

In group play it will always be Warrior, but the class I hate more than anything to face in a 1on1 will always be Shadow Priest.

This is why classic makes me laugh. People have such unrealistic expectations when it comes to what its required for rank 14.

warrior(with healer), hunter, warlock.
honorable mentions: elemental shaman, druid flag runner.

Warrior with heals is a menace.

Druids are amazing utility & heal outside of flag carry as well.

Pally heals can drive you mad.

Locks can do some amazing stuff too.

Good rogues can change games.
