Any guesses on who Luxord is?
Considering he has the exact same hairstyle as Ventus during Union X I’m going to assume Luxord is Ventus’s Nobody!
In Kingdom Hearts Union X Ventus has his eyes flash Red for a small amount of time. This suggests possession. If the possessor kicked Ven out of his body and dumped him into a copy made by the Book of Prophecy after problems with possession the body itself could become a Nobody with the possessor’s Heart still inside!
Also it seems Xehanort’s Pointy Ears appear before the Golden Eyes during his second trip through time… I suspect the Golden Eyes originate from Subject X I.E. Skuld. I also suspect Skuld dumped a fragment of her Heart into Ventus to purge him of his possessor/Luxord only for the guy to kick Ventus out, dump him in an artificial body using the Book of Prophecy and become a Nobody in the process!
Now we must figure out who the Big Bad possessing Ventus is… Judging from Union X Ventus’s Keyblade having Black and Yellow-Green Dragon Wings I suspect Maleficent! It wouldn’t surprise me if we see Union X Ventus first summon his Keyblade then immediately summon Maleficent’s wand and serve as the Superboss of the ReMind DLC.
I can’t even keep up with that series anymore.
Apparently people on KH’s various Forums are suggesting that the Scenario where we play as Riku, Aqua and Roxas(with no Sora in sight) takes place during Sora’s use of the Power of Waking to bring back Kairi.
The time Sora used the Power of Waking in the Keyblade Graveyard resulted in Sora rewinding time and the Lingering Will giving Terra-Xehanort a beatdown. The time where Sora uses it to bring back Kairi will obviously have him intercept Xemnas’s attempt to grab Kairi and chase him down alongside her.
I’m personally hoping Xemnas gets redeemed and that we have to fight the benched Demyx(who I’m certain is the Master of Masters) in his place alongside Ansem and Young Xehanort.
I’m also expecting Young Xehanort to realize that since Time was rewound without him following Sora through the rewind like last time that he won’t be returning to his own time, desperately summon his Keyblade Armor becoming No Heart and upon losing the Keyblade armor give up and switch sides!
As I said I suspect Skuld to be the origin of Vanitas’s eyes. I mentioned suspicion that Maleficent possessed Ven due to the appearance of Union X Ven’s Keyblade and that Skuld put a fragment of herself into Ven only for Maleficent to kick him out dumping him into a Book of Prophecy-made replica turning her host body into the Nobody Luxord in the process.
Nobodies require a Heartless to be created so that would mean that Ventus was a Heartless and that Xehanort’s extraction of Vanitas merely separated the Heartless from Ven’s fragments of Light. That would mean Luxord was recompleted as Union X Ven following KH2 due to Luxord and Vanitas’s deaths and again in KH3 due to the same reason.
Considering Young Xehanort had Vanitas with him(probably given to him by Luxord or the Master of Masters) I suspect Vanitas was responsible for Xehanort’s youthful body as a Keyblade Apprentice as well as his round ears during KH 3D and once removed and placed in a replica left enough of his Heart to give Xehanort Golden Eyes permanently but not take away the pointy ears again.
Of course if Pointy Ears are a Xehanort trait with Round Ears being a Vanitas trait then that means Xaldin had a fragment of Xehanort’s Heart inside him like Xigbar and Saix!

also at what point does the flashing red eyes thing happen? is that stuff that hasn’t been translated yet for the INT version?
Yes it is.
When Ventus blinks the eyes take a change to red or orange momentarily before switching back to blue… In the default video quality at the least.
This seems to be similar to how Riku has Ansem’s Orange Eyes for a few seconds after removing his blindfold. I think video quality interferes with that as well.
The infiltrator of the Union Leaders Brain is calling the Bug Blox by the term Noise(as in Noise from The World Ends With You).
Also the Noise are coming from a World outside of Time which Maleficent and Darkness are using to escape back into the present. Shibuya and Verum Rex both exist in such a place I would assume so Time probably banished Sora to there after he violated Time’s laws in the worst way possible twice!
The laws of Time say: Don’t rewind time(what Sora did) and don’t meet your true self(what Roxas, Namine and the Xehanorts all did). Any past, Nobody and future versions of you that meet their true self will return to their place in time and space which is why Roxas and Namine couldn’t exist in the same place as Sora and Kairi until they got Replica Bodies.
The second law can be circumvented by Merlin(and somehow by Pete accidentally) but the first law is unknown.
Ansem interpreted his existing alongside Xemnas meant that one of them didn’t exist as far as Time is concerned and dubbed Xemnas’s kind Nobodies on the assumption that they were the ones who didn’t exist. Of course as shown by Roxas and Namine it wasn’t the Nobodies that don’t exist but the Heartless!
Ansem only started existing once he possessed Riku as before that he was able to exist alongside his past self! Darkness not Betwixt/Twilight is Nothingness!
