I was doing mythic Antorus, the Burning Throne on a Horde priest alt. I progressed to Kin’garoth and killed the boss like any other, however on death Kin’garoth’s corpse didn’t just do the expected slumping over – the body unexpectedly fell to the bottom of the “well”.
It doesn’t matter much if you’re doing a solo run like I was, however this could be problematic doing it in a group since you’ll be unable to trade loot.

This has been a thing for a long while. World breaker also does this. You’ll get your loots in the mail was blizz’s response when I brought it up. Worst customer service in the industry hands down, which is sad because they used to be one of the best.

Just had it happen to me. Like Nugs said, it’s sad to see how the customer service has fallen. I remember calling in and actually talking to a person. Indie companies ftw /s

There is a possible work around for this bug. If you aggro the mobs leading up to Kin’garoth, let them chase you to him and kill them next to him, you can loot them to get the area loot effect and it would include loot from Kin’garoth. Hope this helps. Hopefully someone at Blizz will address this bug soon.

It’s a bug introduced in the TWW prepatcth. If you click the mob just as it dies you’ll be able to loot it. Otherwise, you will receive the loot through mail. Since it’s not a critical bug, Blizzard isn’t in any hurry to fix it. It will probably take a patch, not a hotfix, for it to be solved.

Confirmed, be quick to click before he drops too far down.
Still happening. I thought he’d vanished!
Use a loot-a-rang, i just did, been saving me so much grief on bugged bosses, never leave home without it
Just had it happen to me as well. Still ongoing.
Edit: Got the unlooted items in the mail though after leaving the raid, so that’s okay.
