King Varian Wrynn is not dead and going to huge in BFA

Here I was strolling along doing some quests and friend asked me an interesting question. Did Odin save Wrynn? Thank about this for a second. He is a warrior and died in the legion zone. How did warrior get to see Odin? They have to die. He meets that basic criterion. So is he with Odin?

It was like wait and stop a moment. He was right and it actually makes a very interesting twist. What if he is around? What is he been up too? Only his body died. His soul could have been saved like warriors and been given a new body. Just like all other warriors in the Legion story.

The writers in wow been very sneaky indeed. It is too bad troll was not a warrior. Still found a way to bring him back. What greater counter would be the KIng returns.

So that leaves a huge question. when is he going to show up? How is it going to effect BFA. I can see this happening.

Got to find someone new to corral these things into their pens. I’m sorry we are still in the testing phase of letting them have social interaction

Sorry, I let the cow guard her for a bit while I went to walk the dire wolf.

The entire special role the Warriors played in the Odyn/Valarjar storyline is that they were the first living Valarjar that wasn’t a Vrykul.

Odyn didn’t raise Varian because he was Human, and was already dead. (Yes I know humans are descended from Vrykul).

I don’t see it happening at all, and it’s just plain stupid from a story perspective.

Please let him stay dead.

I told him a joke and he totally cracked up.

Deep within the Halls of Valor, Varian Wrynn and Garrosh Hellscream are locked in the Ultimate Rap Battle of Ultimate Destiny. There’s no way Odyn’s sending either one back until that’s finished … no matter how long that takes.

Vol’jin isn’t fighting in this war, as we were literally told in the Wisdom of a Warchief questline that whoever brought back Vol’jin doesn’t scheme for mortal thrones.

This is actually a really original thought. Never occurred to me that Varian might still be kicking.

Actually his soul might be gone too. He was disenchanted by fel magic and by nature fel consumes souls and life energy. Varian was likely obliterated body and soul and no longer exists in any form.

First, see trolls out. one was somewhat interesting. rest need more work. Now back to topic. If anyone actually wants to have an intelligent conversation on something that is missing from game. Creativity.

I read this and thank back to Blizzcon. There were some hints of something big happening in wow. I can not think of something so far out that he returns. he does not need to be king, Still there some interesting plot twist.

  1. Genn could finally lose it kill current king. Varian comes back for revenge.
  2. Varian comes after Sylvanas.

These just two core things. Mock me, troll thread all want. the bottom line is BFA crap. This current expansion needs a direction change. this could be one that possible and could happen.

Now done as i see trolls out

Things I would not mind:

Varian somehow getting in contact with Anduin through the Light or Lo’Gosh for some brief inspiration or final farewells.

Stories of Varian’s past somehow visualized in short stories, he had an epic history.

Anduin’s son (if he has one) being named Varian.

Things I am not ok with:

Varian somehow still alive in any corporeal sense.

Varian being brought back from the dead.

Huh?

That was called the return of the Naga and Sylvanas taking up Xal’atath.

That’s “creativity?”

That’s a plot twist?

Yeah, but Varian isn’t needed to do so.

Who may those be?

He will show up as a zombie, raised by Sylvanas.

That is subjective. I happen to love bfa. It’s leagues and bounds better than the Illidan fanfic that was legion.

He’s coming back as a Giant Green Farting-fog monster.

im sorry to tell you my friend…

when warlocks are involved we dont let souls go freely v_v

we can trap it, we can burn a soul (pretty sure seeing as fel can burn basically anything and everything), and at the time Odyn was unable to go that far iirc.

The implication is his soul joined the Light/entered his sword.

In the Audiun questline on the Broken Shore he has a vision of his father standing in the valley of heroes, bathed in white and golden light, who passes the sword on to him.

There’s also the battle of the Undercity where is somewhat implied that he reached out to his father.

It’s thought provoking but, unfortunately, the WoW writing team is totally inept… so we can expect only really dumb things in the story.

Also, I’m still waiting for Tirion to show up and explain what happened to him after the light and whoever/whatever else saved him. His health never even dropped.

But again… this writing team. smh
