Title. This has probably been said already, but GOOD GRAVY does this skill need some smoothing out. Every time I use it I have a barf bag ready because it gives me more motion sickness than a roller coaster at sea.
I don’t have motion sickness but it is disorienting to use. It’d be cool if it didn’t move your camera.
Killing Spree is (still) arguably the worst designed ability in the game. Kind of insane it hasn’t been redesigned at this point.
My only gripe is that it pulls me into boss mechanics, and I get to panic as I watch my health evaporate over eight seconds.
You can control the direction of your Kspree but that is too much work. They need to rework it.
If the camera during Killing Spree behaved more like it does during the Demon Hunter’s Blade Dance (doesn’t actually move while the character is “darting around”), then had a smooth transition to the Rogue’s final/ending destination similar to the Warrior’s Heroic Leap… I think it’d be in a much better spot.
Even better would be to implement some invulnerability mechanic while Killing Spree is active. That’s add some height to the skill ceiling and make it less risky to use too.
Killing spree used to be my go to “press this if you have an itch in rl you have to scratch” button.
Now it’s a sad thing I have to spend combo points on. Me no longer likie.
If only rogues still had Death from Above as an alternative to KS
Same locked in animation that outlaw would hate having to use constantly
DFA is better though compared to coup and kspree. Kspree can be controlled to an extent with movement but coup on beta is what it is.
Well sure, but it wouldn’t have the disjointed, and frankly jarring for some, animation; The trade off being you will absolutely DFA off a cliff.
Just make it work like Demon Hunter’s Blade Dance ability where you only visually appear to move around.
Also imagine if Blade Dance moved the camera like Killing Spree lmao.
Smartest fix to make
