Killing Spree choice node

Is there, like, a possibility that we can have the old version of KS back as a choice node with the current version. I really miss the agile teleporting strikes and really don’t like the gun stuff, don’t know why they changed it tbh, but I can understand how the new version may appeal to others which is why I don’t seek its removal and just to have the option to also use the old version should I choose.

I mean, they both have very different use-cases, so I feel like this is one of those rare cases where I can see both co-existing. With the previous version allowing you to stick to targets more effectively and had a damage stagger effect while the new one has more consistent AoE output and restores combo points.

A choice node would be nice. Melee Kspree seems to work better with Blade Flurry in certain situations while the ranged Kspree tends to work better in other situations when the mobs are spread out.

it was removed because it caused health issues on rogue players along side killing them by clipping no space zones.

brother, us combat rogues wish we could go back to the glory days of simplicity and living on the edge of we will or wont DC during old KS (which is funny cause in MoP classic that old version of KS has 0 issues and feels goooood). but alas, the times, they have changed. and with it, our fun.

also the new version is basically vibe coded to work with the hero talents more or less, especially trickster. cause outside of it, its kinda mediocre damage, not like old KS was any different, but this new one just don’t feel good, the animation sucks.

I do like the new animation of gun spree. The problem is that it has too many drawbacks for a long CD. Now that it is a capstone it is also under powered as a finisher on a long CD. Even KIR and Hidden Opportunity which are under powered capstones are better than Kspree. That is how bad Kspree is in Midnight expansion IMO!

Delete killing spree and give rogues secret techniques.

It’s what we’ve always wanted in killing spree, just make a shadow clone do the work

Better range, can choose to use it single target or Cleave via Blade Flurry. Broke out of roots and it had a damage stagger effect which could be cloaked off to make Outlaw a tanky toe to toe fighter. Old Kspree had more upsides than downsides while new Kspree has more downside and few upsides.

Right now Outlaw is squishier than an Enhancementa well I I wouldn’t go that far since Outlaw still has vial, vanish, evasion and cloak. But yeah Outlaw is basically so squishy that inexperiened players will be crushed trying to level or play Outlaw in end game.
