I have a question about some bosses in dungeons and raids that doesn’t make any sense. Why are there NPCs who should be our allies bosses in dungeons and raids? For example, I just did the Atal Dazar dungeon and one of the bosses is a priestess who is there to cleanse the corruption. She should be on our side but we still kill her. In DF, the bosses who are aligned with the Titans should be our allies but we kill them. Can anyone explain this to me? This doesn’t make any sense.
you do know that the titans are not the good guys they are neutral. and as the bosses they were killed due to them thinking the non people who was hit with the curse of flesh should be removed
I found it stupid that you had to fight the Druid bosses in Amirdrassil. Like, I get it, it’s supposed to be “sacred” and “no intruders allowed”. But we have permission to be there from Ysera and we’re trying to save you from being literally cooked by Fyrakk and the Fireboys.
Sick band name, that, by the way.
is part of Blizzard, now if they don’t make an intelligent decision because those NPCs are the key piece, more than the salvation of Azeroth is to end the Warcraft story with a simple HAPPY ENDING, they should do it like King Dredd in WotLK was a Tyrannosaurus who was immune to the Scourge infection and would serve as the cure, but we killed him.
You want a better example than Blizzard mocked that it would be the salvation of Azeroth, SIMPLE: Garrosh, do the campaign to unlock the Mag’har Orcs and see what that Bronze Dragon says about how in other realities he shows how he led the Horde and the Alliance to unite them, except here.
So you see, don’t say that it is a vital part for Blizzard to continue bringing FILLERS to expansions only by eliminating our allies just because he has the solution for everything.
THIS A GREAT MASTER PLAN FOR EVIL COMPANIE
Oh yeah, I forgot about her. That was a weird one. I guess it was that she was in our way and therefore stopping us from getting to Yazma. Still though, killing her seems harsh. It should have been a fight until defeat encounter rather than fight until death.
At least she gets to look cool as hell.
We all make mistakes in the heat of the moment, Helgo.
I mean we all kill all the guards before her too. Is it because of a misunderstanding that they think we are servants of Yazma? Yes.
This happening isn’t unusual.
We’re not strictly titan aligned. Multiple times we’ve actually had to stop them from purging us because they wanted to try and reset Azeroth.
You forgot the number 1 rule of us players.
If its in the way and it drops loot, IT DESERVES TO DIE.
For the DF dungeons, we were on the side of the Dragon Aspects who are on the side of the titans. Shouldn’t we have working together?
If they didn’t want to die then they shouldn’t have flagged for PVE. Red = dead.
In the immortal words of Malcolm Reynolds:
“If someone tries to kill you… you try to kill 'em right back!”
We primarily fight broken titan constructs, ones that no longer are properly functioning. It’s not like we are fighting every construct.
Arent titan related enemies often malfunctioning or corrupted btw?
Except they should be allies based on their intentions
Except that’s not how they’re written. So I don’t know what to tell you. They’re trying to kill us. So I’m gonna kill them first.
Are they though? The priestess in Atal Dazar was there to cleanse the corruption. We were all against Yazma. By killing her, we strengthened Yazma’s hold on the temple before we killed her too. I’m not talking about the bosses who are hostile to us, I’m talking about the ones who are there for good intentions.
Because most players are murder hobos who don’t have higher brain function.
These are the same ‘heroes’ that gave Inigo Montoy, Kel’thuzad’s phlactery shard for bright and shiny things.
Here’s a prime example of it.
Priestess Alun’za has come to cleanse the temple of all corruption at any cost.
She yells at us that we’re not supposed to be there and that we’re part of the corruption. She’s there to wipe out anyone and anything that gets in her way. You can’t reason with crazy.
The dungeon journal is very unclear on this one but it’s probably a case of she sees you as just as much of a stain on that temple as Yazma and her nonsense. She’s getting rid of everything that doesn’t belong, including you.
Think it should be reminded that the player lead Rezan to Atal’Dazar where he was twisted and made evil. The priestess probably sees the outside influences as more erosion of the Zandalari empire.
