Mage boosting is still a real thing in prepatch I will hit the 30 instance cap. Also even as leveling characters going from 60-70 many of us wil hit the instance cap, maybe not in the minimum 6 hour mark but by hour 10 Iād be surprised if most of us that will be power leveling will hit it

Iād rather them remove it for the first 2-4 weeks of TBC, and I donāt think they can afford to do that AND the pre-patch with how seemingly bad their response to botters is. Plus leveling up will be like 17% faster so the 30 cap isnāt as bad.

Check out Arlaeus on YouTube. He went over some of the popular farms from classic in the beta with the AoE cap. Most of them are still doable with 2-10 extra minutes depending on farm. The main change is flamestrike is looking to be the main damage dealer on most of the farms.
Of course the AOE changes werenāt meant to ābreak itā. This change was made in original tbc when 300+ mara pulls werenāt a thing so how could it have been meant to make it more difficult?
Well, the cap on launch is going to be interesting. Iām planning to grind dungeons 60-70 with guildies and that means weāll hit the capā¦ eventually. Maybe itāll force us to be humans for a bit, or maybe weāll find some thing else.
The instance cap is way above 50, at least in the beta so hopefully itās that many in actual TBC.
Good thing there are quests and things to kill outside instances.
