Can you stop posting on every hunter post the pets have been balanced so go away?
We get it you hate pet classes go bug the warlocks for a while.

The only times I’ve been able to get Hibernate off was when the pet was chasing someone else and no one was attacking me. If the pet was chasing me, it was better to just stay in cat form and run the opposite direction because dropping out of form to stay stationary to cast a spell meant the pet (and whoever else was coming) was getting closer and if the hunter got in range, them dumping mana every GCD to delay the spell would buy them time for the pet to get in range and by that point it’s a losing battle because shifting, healing and dispelling would drain your entire mana bar in seconds and just leave you OOM and dead.
Skill issue. You know that right now, every single class can dispel poison and it costs 0 mana to do it?
Why do you keep weaving your arguments between pve and pvp which are total opposites of each other? It’s wild that you’re defending hunter PETS for pve or pvp instead of asking for hunter buffs for the HUNTER and not the PET. Also, quit comparing warriors to hunters or any other class. They’re simply absurd and it’s an unfair comparison. Hunter pets should not do majority of your damage. Periodt.
I have to assume as far as pvp goes that you’re the typical back pedaling hunter that doesn’t know how to weave auto shots in between your kiting while aspect dancing AND/OR since you even have access to aimed shot and the 41 yd talent that you’re sitting in dead zones and haven’t learned max range kiting.
The class is a free win and one of the easiest to master and I’d wager my account that with even greys, I could kill your warrior, pally, rogue and mage with no runes equipped or even a pet out. Spriest (at higher levels) and warlocks are really the only counter besides another hunter.
It’s a pet class. The pet is the weapon. A hunter that takes the pet runes and talents has no attacks other than auto attack to deal meaningful damage with.
Dispel Poison, the spell, is 76* Mana. Shifting is 263 mana. An instant-cast heal is 105 mana. They can apply a poison every GCD and the pet can apply a poison every 4 seconds. Antivenom is a 1 minute CD. Do math.
But regardless, you can’t tell the difference between PvE logs and PvP scenarios so I’ll just leave you be to your delusions.
Edited to correct the mana values.
See I agree Scorpid Poison should have been fixed and changed. But I also think you fail to realize a Hunters Arcane shot hits for about 31 damage total, Multi-shot hits for about 40 damage. Where is the reduced scorpion damage going to be compensated so the Hunter can press buttons themselves and do damage again? Don’t mention Lone Wolf, it does absolutely nothing right now.
Like I said Hunter Scorpions were just toxic, but now Hunter needs to be compensated in other areas with big hits like Warriors are currently doing. If you asked a Hunter what 600 damage looks like on a crit, they’d laugh at you currently.
Simple math.
Yeah, you can keep your bubble, must be cozy.
Mate I can cast scare beast no issues on a hunter pet. Your spell pushback reasoning is moot. That’s a skill issue on your part. Also yes, sunfire absolutely does hit for that much damage. Check your logs next time.
Scorpid poison still needs to be nerfed. Why are you crying? Hunters needed that scorpion to be nerfed. The pet alone was doing more damage than an actual character dps…
You sure its not the other hunter thats bad and he actually knows what hes doing?
Wait you’re a druid and you actually lose to Hunters? Thats actually really bad. A Hunter should never outrun you. Sunfire is 40 yards, hit the Hunter with Sunfire to daze them in Cheetah and just destroy them. It’s really not tough.
That’s the entire point of BM hunter. The pet is the weapon. The hunter only has auto attack. Serpent sting and arcane shot combined are 2-3 dps. Multishot is maybe another 4 dps.
thinks hunters just run around in cheetah
You have two cases.
Hunter has cheetah on, sunfire dazes, and then you’re faster than the hunter.
Hunter doesn’t have cheetah on, and you’re 30% faster than the hunter.
Keep in mind a hunter has to stand still to auto attack. They have no other meaningful sources of damage if they’re BM.
How exactly do you think Hunters try to stay max range? We don’t have movement speed abilities other than Cheetah? Don’t most classes have base movement speed talents or gap closers? Yes Hunters literally stay in Cheetah till they get dazed.
False, druid ranges are 30 yards, including Sunfire. Only spamming sunfire, druid loses the damage race to an equal-geared hunter (One sunfire every 4 seconds because of energy regen) and that means 20 seconds which won’t kill a hunter before the pet comes out of CC again, and shifting out to either heal, Nature’s grasp to root the pet, or hibernate the pet again costs another sizable chunk of mana while also reducing damage output on the hunter because not being in melee range costs druid a lot of damage and hunter can burst harder in melee than feral can if you took the ‘safe’ sunfire spam option over mangle.
Think any reasonable person would say that good.
Idk I don’t like this constant well this is what Warriors are doing deflecting. It’s this weird side conversation. Hunter Pets alone are doing more damage than other Classes while being Raid bosses which was the problem.
Casters are doing about 55 Dps in Pre-Raid BiS and no I don’t think everyone should start blasting and doing too much damage because then the game becomes unplayable.
I think the most damage on an attack I’ve done is maybe 210. So I don’t know about 600 either. I don’t think Hunters need to be compensated when they are still far and above other Classes and were doing it with Pets which makes it worse.
Or, while you cast you spell on my pet, im rushing you down, when i see its almost over, i shift to hawk and conc shot you. Game over?
