Cobra Shot does a lot more SINGLE TARGET damage than Kill Command. Is there any reason to use Kill Command over Cobra Shot?
because it has the word “kill” in it, lol
My one hunter says 102k for cobra shot 98k for KC.
Not enough of a difference for me to realy care much
I have only dabbled in a little BM and its been a while, but i assumed you favour KC during bestial wrath, and CS outside of it. For cooldown reduction on bestial wrath. Unless I’m forgetting how it works.
yeah, because sometimes it gets all glowy and it makes me feel better about myself
doesn’t kill command have a talent to do cleave? i’m sure it does. it also has a talent to make it bleed effect the enemies it hits.
It uses significantly less focus.
In the current talent system, Cobra Shot uses the same amount of focus as Kill Command but deals about 40% more single-target damage. Kill Command works well for packs of trash mobs, but it’s pretty useless against bosses.
Good luck out there spamming Cobra Shot in ST scenarios lol
Go read through your talents and you’ll see why you want to use Kill Command lol
personally, I just unload whatever is ready to fire. Seems to do quite enough damage without thinking about it. I like not having to think about it. lol
You get 2 kill commands per cast as BM in the current set up because of the second pet talent, so its stated number x 2(- the scalling modifer) for kill command.
Its also got all the packleader interactions for faster summon scaling, the crit increased damage and unlike cobra shot scales with all the things that increase pet damage or are triggered by pet damage since its technically from the pet. You should still use cobra shot single target, especially with the pig procs and to reset more kill commands if you have the talent.
If you actually look at your dmg meter, Kill Command does a lot more.
Do a search of Kill Command in your talent tree and you’ll see why it has a higher prio than Cobra in Single Target.
Go for the Throat
A Murder of Crows
Dire Command
Killer Instinct
Wild Instincts
Howl of the Pack Leader
Pack Mentality
Fury of the Wyvern
Obviously not all of these are taken at the same time but you get the drift. KC is has more going on than just the amount of damage in the Tooltip.
