Is it just me or does Kill Command as a focus builder break the flow of SV? Maybe it’s because I main BM on my hunter but it feels so awkward to use it like a builder. It sort of keeps me from getting into SV.

If you use to BM then it does take some time to get use to. I keep hitting KC thinking it has as much priority as Mongoose.
They just share some of the same abilities and you get back to the BM game play flow as it the most comfortable and familiar.
I definitely agree with you. I think I would have less of a problem with it if it had a 5 to 6 second CD, maybe did a sexy nice bleed, and just gave 50 focus…
Maybe it's just me, but I don't mind the mongoose bite window when I can spam mongoose bite, but having to hit KC 2-4 times within that window just feels defeating.
