Is there any way to make these things go away other than wasting time doing them for bad rewards once you hit 60 on your alts that ran with Threads of Fate?
not that i am aware of.
the ones we had in Warlords were a factor into me taking a two year break from WoW

but seriously there are a lot of good ones out there… if you can get blizzard’s claws out of you head for a few days that is.
the fill the bar quests in SL are quick to complete… lol literally just spam your aoe spells on a couple crowds of mobs and you are done within a minute… compare that to previous expansions, some of the fill the bar quests could take upwards of 5-10 minutes to complete… especially worse were the past expansions where you had to loot items on top of filling a bar off mobs you killed but the loot only had a small chance to drop, as compared to current where quest items off mobs are essentially a 100% drop chance.
There’s satisfaction in killing enemies. Or at least there should be. Really depends on the narrative. Like do you prefer killing vicious drunk pirates in a slum or beating up troubled religious folk?
Threads of Fate is not fast. Threads of Fate world quests take a hideously large amount of time to complete.

I just abandon them when I hit 60 on alts…There’s no penalty for it and the items are useless anyways.
You can just drop them if you don’t want them, but you should likely reconsider.
They give a renown every time, which I imagine you want at least to some degree.
Can do dungeons in the respective zone. Pretty sure it fills the bar. Those world quests are nice to do while in the queue.

It usually only take 30-40 mobs to fill the bar assuming you don’t click any clicky stuff that’s usually included with those quests.
You can do them in a group or just not do them. You can level via dungeons and even as a DPS the queue is 5ish mins. Just pick up all 4 zone quests first and fill in with regular world quests as you wait for dungeons

Ignore them when leveling and at 60. You will eventually clear them while doing you daily chores.

Just goto any zone and ask in general if any lowbies need help doing the bonus areas. I think like every one of them is 1% per kill.
I dont think there is 1 fill the bar quest in the entirety of SL that takes 5 minutes. Weather you are 155 or 200 ilvl.

At least its better than quests with extremely low drop rate items. The kill x number of monsters quests…at least you know when it will be completed.
