That’s not true. 1.5 is more than sufficient for +10s and even higher.
Sufficient and ideal are two different things. People not playing their class with absolute efficiency have no business cluttering up M+.

Because people are reporting for that sort of thing, blizz supports it, and leaving earlier gives credence to that case.

How are they going to report you before the key starts? He knew the tank was in healing gear prior to the key starting. He basically stood there, had enough time to message multiple people, and watched it happen.

You don’t expect optimal play in 10s, far less in lower keys. The bar is higher early in the season, but not 2+ months in.

OP literally stated that he noticed the issue and had time to communicate with the group prior to the key starting. He wouldn’t be reported for leaving. Instead he waited long enough for the key holder to start. Supposedly.
I’m just poo posting to illustrate how insane it is I think people want to get others banned for standards that not everyone holds and we already had ways to separate people who had different goals/priorities.
It wasn’t intended to be taken seriously in any way. I would never actually support suspending or banning players because they didn’t make dps threshold. Much like I don’t support suspending people for leaving a key early because they may be frustrated or think the key won’t be timed provided its not completion tagged.
I would suggest reading the entire post because everything you just wrote had nothing to do with what I was talking about. I was pointing out that 1.5m dps is enough for +10s, nothing more.
I did it was a quote of me suggesting a rule of 1.5M dps in +10’s or ban players for poor performance. Someone said thats not high enough for a +10 and the conversation became about ideal etc.
I’m just pointing out my original intent with the post as it seems to either be lost or not have been clear it was satirical.
Fully fully agree. It’s a result of ‘moderation at scale’ (look that up, folks) and corporate interests in reducing human labor in favor of automation.
Maybe, MAYBE someone would review associated comments/chat logs for an appeal of the suspension, but likely that would take longer than the actual suspension. Blizzard’s human support resources are woefully thin and they do everything they can to prevent you from actually submitting any kind of ticket that requires human action / attention, from my experience.

Azralon. Quel, Ragnaros(also called ragnagross), WyrmrestAccord, Mal’Ganis, and a few others.
Some people tell me it’s dumb for me to restrict. Like if someone comes in with chinese lettering. i remove them from my group. If they are OCE i typically remove them. I don’t feel like dealing with language barriers or their weird routes.
But also i hear the same people telling me they don’t see the point in what i do, ALSO complain that they keep bricking keys/getting bad dps/bad heals. No it’s not foolproof. But in general each server has it’s own “Quirks”.

I was so ready to ask what the problem is and then I remembered Monk is weird Druid and tanking with Intellect gear on is among the five worst experiences I’ve ever accidentally landed myself in.

We do know they are targeting people that leave A LOT of keys. And tbh I have yet to see a post of someone who actually got banned.
I think its mostly gd fear mongering that they will be next lol.
Its a hard thing to have an example for because its either super situational or blatantly doing it because you don’t care about anyone but yourself.
Like accidentally stealing from a store because you or the cashier forgot to scan something vs constantly getting the 5 finger discount until you are eventually caught.
