Kidnapped in mythic+

Sorry I used Google Translate, I guess the guy in my group did it because I was a healer and didn’t want to keep searching for another half hour.
I’m not new, I just wanted to share my experience.

A batch is a wave?

Where do I see them not reading logs?

I see people qqing about being emailed a gm template lol.

No, just not entirely negative. We’ve been told many times in the past that any decision relating to a suspension or a ban has to be made by a person. And I doubt all such suspensions or bans are based just on player reports because they are already doing it and people would not have started any mass reporting at that time. They likely have some system of tracking certain activities - what that is I have no idea.

Going through a batch of tickets sitting in queue and hitting a button on them isn’t what I would consider a wave - as those usually pertain to botting and hacks.

I already explained that one, they stopped doing that some time ago.

Yes every email is the same, and it’s a template with no evidence. We’ve even gotten many posts between Premade group finder ads getting automated 10 day suspensions, and now the person that re-named their char something completely appropriate that got automated on logging back in.

The automated system that does such a great job of cutting down spam? Not gonna lose any sleep over that. It takes such a large volume of reports to lead to action it’s like even the CS bots have gone through layoffs.

A handful of tryhard groups are not going to get anyone banned for bailing on those keys.

Geez man, looking at all this I’d say things are looking ‘not so very good’. I’d stay away from M+ pugs for a time so your cool down resets. Just to be safe. Sorry this happened to you.

Or this. Most likely this.

Good read though.

You didn’t. You just said they don’t read them with the proof of “trust me bro”. Then I meandered over to the cs forums and all I see is people qqing about receiving templates when banned.

Soooo…

But how do YOU know they didn’t review logs? That’s just the ban/appeal template lol.

This smells more like a thought exercise speculating what could happen to people…except if you actually read the blue post you’d know there is nothing to worry about.

I did, if they had read them then they would be adding the quotes to emails. They had to remove quoted reported text though because it was just throwing random sentences people reported that didn’t violate any rules which was proving the automation.

Already answered that, thanks.

This thread reeks of troll.

Where?

Emails =/= they didn’t read.
As I said. That’s just their template. It doesn’t say what they reviewed nor does it include the proof needed to ban.

Tbh you aren’t answering anything nor are you proving anything to back up your claims.
I don’t base my info off “trust me bro” or whatever nonsense you are trying to gaslight me into believing lol.

Where does it say they have to include proof in the bans?
You aren’t entitled to the logs they reviewed.

Firstly, there are a number of red flags you describe prior to stepping foot in the dungeon, which you should have paid attention to.

Second, unless you are a serial leaver, I very much doubt Blizz’s GMs would throw the book at you.

Yes, the template that says they didn’t read the logs or review the evidence.

You actually have, because there’s no physical hard evidence showing them reading and investigating every report or log, the evidence is to the contrary.

You’re the one trying to do that to me since I dared contradict what you personally believe in.

It doesn’t, the rules also state they don’t need a reason. If you prefer to believe every ban they’ve done is for no reason, more power to you (Since that’s what’s said in their rules)

Maybe it also exhibits wave-particle duality based on the observation? :upside_down_face:

(I’m sorry)

The email doesn’t say they didn’t review evidence.

There is more evidence to show they DO read them vs not.

Your nonsense however is quite literally “I made up a number”.

And what are you doing exactly? I can go over to the cs page right now.

You can’t back up this. Period. But please. Do try.

:point_up_2:

You are the one claiming every ban is “for no reason”, since apparently they don’t read 99% of the logs ever :joy:
Man the gaslighting is strong in this one.

This is not a kidnapping
but you may can get them on false imprisonment charges

You could have left, he could have reported you and nothing would have happened. Do you people not read the posts?

Ah… it has begun sigh

None of this is a reportable offense on your end. It is a reportable offense to go “I will report you if X” though, as that is a threat and it promotes a negative environment.

No, leaving a group in that situation isn’t griefing. Heck leaving 10 groups like that still isn’t griefing.

The people who were banned were players who were purposefully ruining keys with the malicious intent of doing so.

https://www.reddit.com/r/CompetitiveWoW/comments/1h0qvmz/blizzard_bans_mythic_leavers_intentional/

Beyond that we have threads on for an example Reddit where they outline that the people who were banned are people who have left hundreds of runs … just to ruin the dungeon. There’s worlds apart in terms of folks who just left the group for a reason, and those who left for no other reason than to purposefully grief the team.

It requires a player to explicitly be doing to grief the group. So you could’ve just left and reported 'em for threatening you, although that likely would go into the language category … unless they would escalate things beyond what they had already said.

So then you know that for the future.

You would have been fine leaving a key.

The issue was with people doing it A LOT. A single leave isn’t even going to put you on a radar.

I would have. You would have been better off to report them and leave. Even if they reported you after you left, yours would have come first and if you had mentioned all of this in the report, you would have come out fine and they would have been watched after that.

Not for a single key. Even if you got reported you wouldn’t have gotten actioned.

The post clearly said “a high number” and a single key isn’t even close to that.

Let’s be honest, if they even hint at a number, people will just skirt up to that number and stop, basically just “playing the system”. Blizzard can’t give people ANY metric.
