Was going well for the first few minutes then I said “havent done this dungeon before, where are we going?” cause these dungeons are like 20 year old content. So not but 20 seconds later I get kicked and whispered a nasty message from one of them. Am I supposed to know literally every single dungeon in this game??? This community is so toxic, I told him I reported him but he said “GL bro getting my friends to report you too”. So now Im gonna get banned? great

If your new just follow everyone elce. If your a tank do it as a dps first or just pull up the map and see where the next boss is. Or just look it up on wowhead

A person actually reviews reports like that. You don’t get banned just because you’ve been reported. As long as you didn’t actually do or say anything against the Terms of Service, you’re not getting banned.

First mistake, why didn’t you just follow the group? There’s more to this story, or it never happened, either way, why the need for the attention? Why else would you post this?
Unless they queued as tank…and I would never recommend anyone queue as a tank for content they have never seen before, especially old content.
Wait. Isn’t there kick protection in dungeons for the like the first 5mins? Although it wouldn’t surprise me if it wasn’t included in TW dungeons.
You will not get banned from the game just because somebody kicked you from a dungeon. That literally never happens.
HOWEVER - If you did something in retaliation that you did not tell us, like a really mean whisper… well, that kind of thing is looked upon extremely unfavourably and normally nets you at least a slap on the wrist … if not something more severe for a repeated (or more severe) offense.

It’s group content.
They have no right to force what they wanna do on everybody else.
Considering that 99 out of 100 times when people come with the “I have done nothing wrong” narrative, if and when a Blizzard employee ever chimes in they come with receipts that very much prove the opposite, we tend to believe what we do.
That isn’t to say your case is definitively not what you say it is - it’s just to say that we have a very hard time believing you considering the history of anyone else who’s tried to pull these kind of shenanigans.

I think they removed it completely because it was being abused. Like first X minutes a troll can run roughshod over a group or even just blatantly AFK out and force everyone to wait out the timer to handle the situation. Very unpleasant, all around.
So, pointing out your mistake is advice, you know, to help you not make the same mistake again.
If I were to victim shame you, I’d be banned from the forums sweetheart. But you are obviously just looking for drama, and we aren’t married…
Your viewpoint feels to me like you’re assuming the OP isn’t a new player (and possibly a young one at that). They might not even know about the dungeon journal, or have thought to read it in their excitement to do new (to them) content.
Constructive criticism, and asking further questions for clarification is fine. Assuming they’re lying (which is a possibility, but you don’t know, and probably never will) and berating them for no good reason is the same sort of behaviour that led to the original post.

Actually i can say the same thing, ws about to be at last boss no one was talking before then, i typed this dragon mount is a myth and then 10s later i also was Kicked was doing nothing wrong and i was the healer! healing just fine no one was dying or losing health as well… i also noticed the other people where all in same guild and same realm
Reported him for what? They are allowed to kick you. For any reason they want.
You’re not going to get banned. But on the other hand, whispering players after you’ve been kicked is a bad choice.
