Kicked for not having a drake

Yeah. :C There’s too much of a “gogogo” mentality right now in dungeons. It’s a normal dungeon. Not a key M+. Just sucks because there’s work arounds in place to help out.

Druids.

Some players went on a whole spiel back Legion/BfA years about player mounting in travel form “without consent”.
Basically they kept going on about it being “assault” until Blizzard removed passenger travel form being default and made people have to opt into it.

Those were some crazy years.

Also to clarify, I’m not implying druid players were the problem, or even the players necessarily making the outcry.
Simply that it was due to the druid class mechanics itself.

mmmm… asz-salt

Doubt X because your dragon in like the 5th quest available.

Maybe don’t rdf your way through the expansion and enjoy it for once.

Literally questing and RDF. It’s how I always play MMOs. Have a good night and I hope santa brings you something other than coal

yeah this guy sucks lol

That dungeon kinda does require the dragon to complete though?

So, checking out of sheer curiosity, the soonest you can get the quest for your first drake is 23 quests in if you ignore every single sidequest in the zone and dive straight for unlocking it specifically. 20 if you did the prepatch quests.

The quest rewards from those alone account for over half of the experience needed for 60-61. Realistically you’re probably a minimum of level 61 from those quests, the kills to complete those quests or get to quest objectives, the bonus objectives in Scalecracker Keep, and the map exploration, it’s only about 90k experience. And again, no side quests at all.

So yeah. Exactly. He hit the island. Got bored. Hit rdf immediately.

Basically skipping the entire expansion experience.

Cringe.

People kick far too quickly these days. No one has patience, and I feel sorry for new/returning players.

It used to be one would find friends and bond over being a noob. Now you just get ignored and kicked, which creates the opposite effect: one becomes jaded and likely just quits the game (as OP almost did).

So the clear fact there is an old god on the islands, and there is a war/hate against titans: you know COSMIC beings who i can bet every last dollar will show up in a later patch is not cosmic enough to you? What do you want i am curious.

I very rarely see anyone get kicked.

Maybe once every 30 dungeons if that.

That’s sort of the opposite of the point I was trying to make there. You have to be trying to avoid getting extra experience to unlock dragonflying before you hit 61, and prior expansions haven’t exactly punished you for doing dungeons early and often.

Between the side quests, profession quests, and the fact that stage of the main questline unlocks two main quests and a bunch of side quests at the same time, I’m not surprised people occasionally hit 62 and unlock the second dungeon before their dragon if they’re taking their time the way you suggested.

And with how often we need tanks and healers in the queues, it also makes sense that people playing tank and healer roles would queue up for the extra gold and experience while doing their quests.

If not for the fact that that specific dungeon makes use of dragon flying, nobody would know or care that any given player was in dungeons before their main quests, so I’m not sure why you’re skeptical that it happened, was my point.

So, you didn’t have a drake and literally now one in the group had Ride Along activated? Strange. Though, would probably say to avoid dungeons until you get quests for them, the exp/gear in dungeons isn’t really worth it until max level or when doing dungeon quests specifically since a lot of things are unlocked by renown and dungeons don’t really give any of it.

ur like halfway thru level 62, having fun spamming dungeons, and then someone gets into ur group who doesn’t have Dragonriding in nokud. sad

Then they call you toxic for asking them to leave because none of you happen to have turned on the ride-along.

Not true I took the ride along option just for that reason so if someone isn’t good at dragon riding or don’t have it I can take then where they need to go. As I have the dragon riding title for the advanced courses I can easily help someone else.

There is a feature you can toggle to allow other people to turn into whelps and cling to your dragon while it flys. Simple. Easy. Nobody should be getting kicked for not having a dragon.

Must say even in the Nokhud offensive dungeon.
you don’t even need DR.
You can simply fly by another player…
If they didn’t knew that … shame on them.

What level does this dungeon become available to que for?
