How about… Don’t want to be reported, don’t be toxic and if you have issues with people who use the dungeon finder, go find your own group that has everything you wish for them to have.
Then and only then will this type of behavior stop. However, it is very clear that Blizzard only used lip service when they created their social contract/ToS. Had they really meant to clean up their community, then there would be thousands of bans each day and they’d be reporting on those bans to the community so that the community would see they mean business.
ask if anyone in a group has ride along enabled on their dragon glider, and ride with someone, and you will turn into a small whelpling and fly along side your ride. I’ve both taken and whelped to places in that instance.
Anyone who wants you to play like a cracked out monkey is still stuck in the M+ beat the clock mindset. don’t get discouraged, there are good folk they just weren’t in your group.
Oh, and since it’s that time of the year: Merry Christmas.
Not the best idea to just start dungeon spamming your first time through an expansion - and while I like unique mechanic of Dragonriding in one of the dungeons - I understand players who don’t have a Dragonriding mount will be practically unable to do it. Maybe a temporary mount should be given to players who have yet to earn the Renewed Proto-Drake or, less preferably, prevent players from queuing and entering the Nokhud Offensive until they have at least one Dragonriding mount.
It let the person Que in before having the dragonriding unlocked. There is nothing whatsoever that says “Hey you should quest more and get dragonriding before you go in here!” You are all indignant because the OP didn’t know what they didn’t know and there was nothing to tell them in the first place. You say hey they should have done this first and maybe the answer is hey the other people should have known and unlocked 2 man dragon mounts.
I said earlier I put more blame on Blizzard for allowing someone to queue up for the dungeon without first having unlocked and gone through the dragonriding tutorial. I don’t blame the OP for that nor do I blame the party for not being willing to deal with it. In the end, the will of the rest of the group matters more.
Just like IRL ignorance doesn’t just get you out of punishments for breaking the law. You may garner more sympathy and get reduced sentences, but it still falls to you in the end. OP was an anchor to their group no matter if it was intentional or not and they got dealt with appropriately. Trying to shift the blame to the other people for not being in a position or willing to cover for their ineptitude isn’t right.
I do indeed use the dungeon finder, and would kick anyone who didn’t have dragon riding still. If they are immediately hopping onto their friend’s or someone’s mount, I won’t, but if it’s holding us back, you bet I and others will kick. Don’t like or have dragonriding, don’t do that dungeon so you don’t get kicked.
Actually, the OP wasn’t given any options. Only asked if he had DR and when he said no, it was a kick. This violates Blizzards rules. If blizzard did not want him in that dungeon, they wouldn’t have allowed him to queue. It isn’t up to you to decide who can or cannot queue or run dungeons it is up to blizzard. Thus, the people you kick should report you for violating your ToS.
Then everyone who kicked people who didn’t have the cloak back in BFA for not having the cloak that was needed for the fight I guess broke the rules and should be reported? Not our fault Blizz didn’t have a requirement set for it.
Like I said, for me it wouldn’t be a problem if they don’t hold back the group, if they are holding back the group they are. If no one in that group had the two person version, then OP would have just had to use the FP, which isn’t as good as flying their yourself.
There’s an option at the dragon x-mog station that allows you give a ride to someone else in your party as you glide around. A good number people don’t have that on.
It’s also weird how you you got high enough to Q for that dungeon, that one doesn’t open until 62 which by that point you would have gotten your drake by following the story.
You’re not in the wrong for feeling the way you do, you really dodged a bullet with that group. At the same moment they aren’t in the wrong either: “If they want a fast run to level and the majority wants you gone…then you’re gone.”
Kinda on Blizzard for allowing one to Q into that area without Dragon flying. Not everyone is kind enough to wait…or know how to turn on the taxi.
Yup, if you’re talking about LFR or DF. That is their system and they set up the rules for it. If it is a group you form, then you can set up whatever requirements you want.
Even in the event that there was, they’re still handicapped going from one pack to the next, and that’s not even taking into account the number of packs that are between PoIs and bosses.
They should have just made the dungeon unavailable if you don’t have dragonriding or tied dungeons to the story, which would have made dragonriding available long before you reached the maruuk centaurs. What’s the point of even doing a dungeon before you reach it in the story anyway, you’ll just spoil yourself. You still gotta do the story even if you reach max level.
Lmao that makes 0 sense. It’s blizzards fault, so report the people? Nobody is going to wait an extra 15 minutes for you to walk to each spot of the dungeon. The timer was an opportunity to go get the mount.
I have noticed a trend where toxic players, ie those who do unpleasant stuff to other players, are trying to lay the blame for toxicity on others. Precisely as you’re doing here.
I have no problem with dragon riding, however many do.
