Kick problem is real

It’s just a phrase, I don’t actually smoke tbh.

Means go chill out, I’m sure you know this.

I dunno, there’s better ways to say “chill out” than suggesting the genesis of lung cancer.

Apparently it is for op

Seriously dude?

You are going to fight me over some dumb saying on the forums?

I’m sure you have better things to do.

See and I still run a lot of dungeons. I just don’t see the things people tend to post about.
Now I’m not saying it doesn’t happen, but it’s definitely not at frequent as these posts make it out to be.

As you said earlier about one offs. It happens and people tend to knee jerk run to the forums because of that shiny debuff.

Sigh. I do not. What’s the lame argument over? I’ll step in.

Seeing I don’t know the content yet, and in case I need to lead off I’ll start with a safe,

Yea?! So??

The thing is, it’s up to each group to decide what they want to put up with, and that’s the best way to do it. If OP got kicked for pulling an extra mob, it’s because 3 or 4 other people didn’t want to put up with it. In another group, it’s entirely probable that OP can do the same thing and not get kicked. That’s the nature of random group play, and the only way around it is to take away from people the freedom to choose who they want to play with, which is worse.

I don’t feel like we’re on the way other side of the spectrum either. Considering how many random groups there are every day in WoW (thousands), getting one or two forum posts per day is not worth getting concerned about. And most of these forum posts are for reasons that Blizzard wouldn’t prevent even if they could, such as OP’s case.

You’re not entitled to any “safe spaces” when you’re playing with other people, except within the scope of the code of conduct. If you don’t want to deal with other people, delves and follower dungeons are great options to learn your class without dealing with other people.

We had a tank doing that in a normal run in the meadery while leveling yesterday, he rushed and couldnt keep aggro and wiped us 2 times, so we kicked him.
Dunno what ppl are doing, whether its tanks rushing or dps pulling ahead of tanks, this gameplay really blows and i wonder if its coz ppl play as they see top m+ streamers play or what…

OP defending themselves for being oblivious to their surroundings. If you have been kicked more than once or even twice from PVE content that you can Que for. The problem is probably not the group, but yourself. Taking some accountability is also a problem in this game, where everyone can point the finger at anyone else but themselves. It’s okay if you made a mistake, it happens, but if it’s something that is happening a lot. Maybe you should consider a little self-reflection and really ask yourself, “is it me?”

Nah. For you to interpret that way says a lot though.

I did an experiment today, ran 4 different heroics with 4 different tank characters and randomly tried to kick people.

The 4 kicks got denied.

Then I went back to running with my druid that I’m farming valor and we did some big pulls and we skipped one pull that is relatively easy – but this dude didn’t pay attention ran through and brought a whole area into the group. I vote kicked him and the vote passed.

Results: It takes someone to do something that makes other people in the dungeon unhappy to get kicked.

You know what made others vote to kick him? He didn’t even apologize, he said that we could’ve dealt with the pack and shouldn’t be crying about it.

I tell people right at the beginning of the run.

“Lace up, cause if you plan on kicking me, you’re losing a shoe.”

That sets the tone.

The only solution for this is for the rest of the people to never blindly press yes when a votekick pops up that is the real problem here. Yes there are nasty people in the game but its up to the rest of us to stop that, people all get their own vote and i know i use it with good conscience

People need to learn to report players who do that.

Exactly what tone are you trying to set?

Because you’re sock puppeting something that rarely happens because you want to pretend like it’s an actual issue.
