To be fair, I participated in one today. We had a Balance Druid queued as our healer and we wiped on trash.
I hope that was a justified and fair use of the vote to kick system.

Spirit link totem is causing some interesting problems in tw.
If there is a moderate level difference between the shaman and someone else.
It will cause the non shaman’s hp to quite literally drop to 1hp due to scaling.
Usually happens on a high level tank and a low level shaman healer. Shaman drops spirit link. Tanks hp drops to 1. Tank gets 1 hit and dies.
Not sure. But they updated their stance 3 weeks ago and have washed their hands of it.
Groups are empowered to manage their own members through the vote-kick system. If the majority of the group feels a player should be removed, they can initiate a vote-kick to remove them. The system is entirely under the control of our players. Players may choose to remove any other player from the group for any reason, provided the vote to kick passes.
Customer Support does not provide loot, gold, or quest/achievement progress not gained as a result of being kicked from a group.
If you have any feedback about the group management system and how you think it can be improved, please submit a suggestion in-game:
- Press the Esc key to open the Game Menu, and click Support.
- Click Submit feedback or bug report.
- Click Submit a suggestion.
- Follow the guidelines on the submission form, and enter your suggestion.
- Click Submit.
Note: Groups formed outside of the queue system (Guild Runs, Mythic +, etc.) will not utilize the vote-kick system. Instead those groups will have one party leader that controls who gets invited or removed.

Factually that group has NO say over our discussion topics in here. Just discuss what you have in mind with less antagonistic members here and ignore anyone stirring up problems with you.

This is a forum of roughly 1% of the playerbase as per a blue post. The five people who screech at the top of their lungs— including the panda who harasses the people who kicked him and screams and bullies everyone in these threads— in the handful of topics that come up does not a systemic issue make.
- You don’t have free speech on a company’s private platform.
- No one is telling you to be quiet.
There are no GMs here. Nor will they or should they decide what is and isn’t legitimate.

What bliz HAS to do is come out and state publicly that they do NOT ENDORSE or CONDONE kicking players for no reason, even though they arent able to take tickets over it.
THAT way, at least these kiddies wont be able to scapegoat blizzard with THEIR bad behavior anymore

The literal EASY fix is allow the kick, remove the Debuff. Then groups can move on, and so can the kicked.

If there is one thing I leanred during my time spending over in Customer Support forums, there is always someone hiding the other part of the story.
Yes, people can kick anyone out for any reason, but I have actually rarely ever seen that. In fact, vote-kicks are quite rare from what I’ve seen.

I did hold groups hostage.
Back in Cataclysm. Was the tank, people were too low on damage meter so I decided they shouldn’t get the instance done.
Then they can requeue as soon as their feet hit the pavement in Dornogal. Ya know everyone that gets booted is just polishing armor in the city waiting for queues anyway.
I have the right to guess, but if OP doesn’t respond then it was the wrong person that’s all.

Reason why they added the debuff was because of people exploiting the queuing system in order to avoid the buff.

The debuff is the deterrent that makes getting kicked or leaving a group unappealing
It is what is keeping the toxicity, among other issues, from actually becoming commonplace in dungeons
