We know subs declined after Wrath, but why is the question. It could be that people didn’t like the revamp of the old world. It could be that they didn’t like that Wrath was catering to casuals and Cata was more of the same. It could be that the people who started in Wrath didn’t like that Cata heroics were so hard. It could even be that RDF is what kept and aging player base playing longer than they otherwise would have, so the sub numbers didn’t crash as hard as they otherwise would have. Nobody really knows.
SO if thats the case then everyone can shut up about the number of Subs in wrath when RDF came out.
My druid didn’t.
There was a tabard for having a 6 month sub though from a few months back.
You are the first person I have seen other than myself that has said rdf may have been what saved them from losing even more.
