I began playing WoW on the Khaz’Goroth server in November 2004. My main was a Paladin named Breandan. I leveled with an acquaintance I met on the server, a mage, until I was level 59. I was invited to an MC raid when I was almost to level 60 and hit level 60 on that raid. The guild was Legend. The best times I have had in the almost 15 years that WoW has been out were spent with this guild. I don’t remember everyone’s names and if I forget to mention you and we were good friends in this guild, I apologize. It’s been a long time. I also remember a guild called Time and Southern Star Elites. If I remember right, Time was a very good progression guild.
I don’t remember our guild leaders name when I joined Legend but I remember one of our main tanks was Saintx. A guy who used to yell “heal me!!!” all the time in MC as if our healers weren’t doing their best to keep him alive. I remember a rogue named Typo, a hunter named Plisk who named his hunter pet Typo as a joke, a mage named Maskhevich, Paladins named Hags, Battledwarf, and Lightarrow, a hunter named Munikal, a druid named Veritaz, mages named Voridor and Black Cherry, and a gnome warlock named Kimer. Also, a female (IRL) warrior that I can’t remember her name for the life of me. I do remember that she joined a guild named GOAT a few years after Legend dissolved.
Legend broke up because of a dispute about the guild being a PVE or PVP guild. Maskhevic and I along with a few other people formed a PVP based guild named Hate. I can’t remember which PVE guild came first, Decimate or Requiem, but Kimer and the PVE’ers formed one of these guilds which morphed into the other. We eventually dissolved Hate and joined the PVE’ers in their PVE raiding guild. Kimer and a few others eventually formed a horde guild named Cool Whip on a different server. I played with them for a while before I finally lost touch with all of them.
I have been playing WoW off and on during all of the expansions. I currently have an active membership and still play from time to time. My son, who was just shy of 10 years old when I began playing WoW, is now 25 and is a heavy Mythic + raider.
While I have no desire to return to Khaz’Goroth because of the time difference between where I live (US East Coast) and most of the Khaz player base (Australia/New Zealand), I would love to connect with some of my old guildmates and server friends from Khaz’Goroth. If any of you remember the guilds I mentioned and plan to form or play in a guild based on a US server, let me know. The Paladin that I am posting on, Merv, is my original WoW toon (Breandan) after a name change a few years ago. He is currently on the Anvilmar server. We started out on Khaz’goroth although we eventually took the transfer to Dath’remar to escape the queues of 2000 at oceanic peak.
Liken was my name / Grand Marshal Paladin / Former Guild was Time Played alot with a mage name Glowing. He was Grand Marshal to. I remember lots of horde friends at the time to. Hope to see some of you guys and girls again.
Hello peoples hags here would like to reconnect with my old pvp guild decimate several grand marshals and field marshals and everyone in between.i know most are Americans and have since moved on from wow but hopefully. Mahsevkic,kimer,duelblades,typo,veritaz,alakar,munikal ,Gorgi from requiem, lenoie from time. Good memories i will be going horde this time around on a ocenaic server.
Yes i was the first Grand Marshal Pally and #3 in getting the Grand marshal rank after glowing and Demone i think his name was he was a warrior on the horde. I remember your name .

Hey Hags. My toon was Breandan. It’s actually this paladin. I just renamed him over the years. We ran together in Decimate and Requiem. Mahs, Typo, Plisk, Veritaz, Voridor, Munikal, me, and a few other people made a pvp guild named Hate after we left the guild Legends. We eventually joined Kimer in his new guild, Decimate, which, if I remember right, turned into Requiem. You and I used to escort Veritaz across the mid in WSG. Is this the son Hags or the dad?
Some familiar names here! I believe I played with Kimer and Veritaz in Shadow Command during this time frame. Also Lothander, Zorgo, StMary, Amani, Douchey, Zextrex, Marlise, and many others. Great folks and some of my best time spent in this game! I was Spalding / Gnome/ Warlock and originally Naric / NE / Druid.
Newvian here, I was a Rogue in Time. I played with Trin, Liken, Glowing, Roch, Slate, Misty, Vali, Methaniel, etc etc etc. It was literally the best raiding group I ever had the pleasure to play with. There were tons of others from other guilds that were amazing players as well. Way to many awesome players to list here. Hopefully we can all reunite in classic.
Oh man I remember time, you were the biggest raiders back in vanilla right? You guys cleared naxx and got ateish? I can’t remember your exact achievements but I know you guys were serious business!
