After buying and using a contract on one character today, the buff is not showing up on any others even though it’s a “warbound” contract, nor is the bonus rep being awarded when completing a world quest.
These are fresh world quests that I have not yet done this week.
Tested on the character I used the contract on and it works. Any other characters, different world quest, it does not.
Are you sure the contract buff applies to all of your toons? Could’ve sworn there was a limitation where it doesn’t or if it does, it’s only for the first WQ completion per account
It applies to all characters but you only get the rep on your first completion of that respective world quest.
Based on the OP saying they did a different WQ on an alt and did not get any rep, I would say the contract is bugged.
Confirming this is the case. Created and used the contract on my inscription alt and went back to my main to do world quests. I did not receive the bonus reputation on my main. I then made a second contract and sent it to my main, which I was able to use.
Unfortunately, I forgot to use concentration, so it was only a rank 2 contract. I made a fresh rank 3 contract for my main, but was unable to overwrite the rank 2 contract with the same rank 3 contract (a seperate bug IMO, a higher rank contract should be able to overwrite a lower rank of the same type).
It’s in the tooltip. Applies to entire warband. Even if its only the first time doing the WQ on a toon the buff is supposed to show as active for the entire Warband.
I had to use a second contract on an alt to get the buff again. They are doing DIFFERENT world quests so the +15 rep per should have shown on both.
The buff was missing from other characters.
I can also confirm that I am not seeing the contract buff on any of my alts. I activated a rank three contract on my main character, and that character is the only one that shows the buff.
Hey all, i was having the same issue with my contract but today after opening my portable Warbank over and over for about 1 - 2 minutes then boom a sound happened and the contract buff appeared I’ve now done this to 3 of my alts and one of my friend has also been able to replicate this so please try and hopefully this works for your toons too!.
Had the “warbands” ability on my action bar. Used the map sync which did nothing but then after clicking the warbands and getting the expanded abilities option (only the map available but eh) It did ding and the buff showed up, so this seems to be a fix?
