Is this worth using in PvP?
I got this from my TW weekly reward so it is only ilvl 398, just wondering if the on use makes it worth using over the glad weapon?
Losing 26 weapon ilvl is not worth it, no.

The ability it gives is practically unsuable in PvP since it has both a short cast and a 3 second channel, as well as being very telegraphed, making it easily interrupted. On top of that, in PvP it deals about 75% less damage than advertised so it’s not even worth using over a basic Disintegrate.
This is what kills it. It’s channel and start up cast don’t really mean anything since you could obsidian scales to protect from interrupts and shroud to protect from cc, making pushback the only stop (no you can’t hover it 
). The ilvl drop itself isn’t even that big of a deal since weapons are swappable in pvp, and it doesn’t have the combat restriction the jailer weapon did to prevent that. If it did full damage in pvp, lucky evokers would eat everyone.
The mythic version would probably be worth running for the stats alone
