I’ve always wondered this, but why is the statue of Khadgar in the Valley of Heroes an old dude with a long beard? Every time I look at the statue I think of Antonidas.
It looks like his old model.
That’s how he used to look. His current look came in WoD.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen his pre WoD model…
I thought you were gonna ask for a Khadgar statue in the store.
Oh, thats him? I guess thats what I get for ignoring BC as much as possible.
Pre-age restored by a naruu khadgar.
Lmao, rofl, roflmao
OMG,thought i looked bad,eh.
Benjamin Buttons!
I mean it looks like he just shaved and starting taking better care of himself.
Khadgar got cursed to age very quickly.
Then he went through the Dark Portal to save the Alliance. (WC2)
Then the Alliance built the statue of him to honor his memory, assuming he might be dead.
Then we found him in BC and he still looked very old despite not actually being THAT old.
THEN he managed to reverse some of the effects of the aging curse, shaved his beard, and/or possibly used some illusion magic, and that’s why he looks younger.
All in all, he’s probably supposed to be in his late 40s or early 50s right now.
It took me a bit to realize that was Khadgar, got that beard shave.
Thralls face has changed a few times too, over the years. Same with King Wrynn.
maybe he shaved
Lorewise Khadgar was struck by fel and magically aged. In reality he’s suppose to be as old as the Warcraft movie Khadgar.
That’s why Khadgar can act a little immature every now and then.
He use to be a really old gandalf style wizard, but Blizzard nerfed his beard and wrinkles.
Khadgar is kind of hot.
It’s based on how he looked before WoD which is based on wizards from WCII.
Now if they would just update those statues…
