Notice that the Darkness popping out of Ventus says us?
Even now the YouTube Posters are suspecting that the Darknesses are the 13 Darknesses that were once part of the X-Blade…along with the 7 Lights…
So the 13 Darknesses each have a consciousness… That in of itself brings into question the plot of Melody of Memory…
Kairi is out of nowhere shown confronting the Master of Masters and earlier is seen holding the shards of the Pure Light that was in her… If the 13 Darknesses had consciousnesses then so must the 7 Lights… The Master of Masters is one of said Lights.
Back to the 13 Darknesses: The Darkness Maleficent worked with seemed to know Maleficent as well as she knew herself and since the Book of Prophecies mentioned nothing about her it is likely this particular Darkness is Maleficent’s future self.
How can this be? Remember the X-Blade was originally created when equal Light and Darkness intersected.
Maleficent and her lackeys most likely arranged for this clash and became the X-Blade and later were freed as 13 Pure Darknesses and 7 Pure Lights(which says a lot about how little the Villains’ Light defined them since it coalesced into 7 not 13).
So whose Light does the Master of Masters come from? Pete’s obviously considering he has the mannerisms and multiple associations with Cats.
As for the Master’s Eye being Blue… It’s the same Eye Color as Ventus and Ventus is last seen going to the Realm of Darkness… Pete only has to grab Ven’s body, kick his Heart out, gouge out Ven’s Eye then go back in time and join Maleficent and her other Lackeys’ intersection of equal Light and Darkness!
I expect Kairi’s memories will show her child self encountering a Time Traveling Pete in Ven’s Body(with Pete loudly boasting about his true identity) and when she enters the Final World have Pete’s Light separate from her and become the Master of Masters and remove the hood which will reveal Noctis with one of Ven’s Eyes signifying that he is Pete allowing her to recognize him.
Master of Masters will naturally explain how Pete, Maleficent and their lackeys(one of which might be Lauriam considering the silhouette of Vanitas when he killed Strelitzia while another might be Skuld considering Vanitas’s Eye and Hair Color) went back in time and intersected their Darkness with Light becoming the X-Blade which later split into 13 Darknesses and 7 Lights(one of which is the Master of Masters).
The fact that Kairi blames the Master of Master for Sora’s fate indicates that he forced her to be a Damsel in Distress by controlling her subtly(just as how Ansem was able to exert force on Riku’s muscle movements).
What’s the likely end result of Melody of Memory? Kairi ends up being offed and winds up playing the Reaper’s Game as Sora’s partner while the Master of Masters walks away with Kairi’s body under his complete control.
