My sense of smell was greatly degraded by a high-school chem lab accident, so all of this “stuff tasted better back when” talk goes right over my head.
KFC, McDonalds fries… basically anything that was deep fried. Oh well I can still use lard at home!

were you one of the lucky ones who was in their KFC Buffet test markets? oooohhhhhhhhohohohohooo were those good. small, was chicken and sides with deserts, but also had chicken fried steaks with the country gravy…
