Keyword filter for chat

Reason I want keys word filter is mainly because of benediction and mankrik mayhem chat where every second it gdkp and boosting character. I have nothing against those but I just feel we should have a filter for people who are doing dungeon and can’t keep track of all the craziness in the server. (Yes I heard about the bullet stream addon but not everyone prefer addon like me…)

It’ll be like warframe where you can filter thing like relic drop and relic farm was because it was easier to search those thing and invite people on there. I’m saying classic should have this as well to keep track the chat where it going and stuff so your eyes isn’t overwhelm by the spam!

I hope to get y’all opinion but if this isn’t something we need then I guess we won’t request for it then…it was just an idea.

One thing you can do, if you are not already, is to right click on your chat window/tab and select “create new tab”, then right click that tab and select its properties or settings, then use the check boxes to select which channels it receives chat from.

I tend to separate LFG from other windows, due to the volume there, and that I only really want to view it when I am looking for groups or to see if a macro I am using to form a group is displaying properly.
