Can we only get one key a week? Or are there other ways to get some?

You get 4 a week from world event chests:
You also get key fragments from some world quests and from using radiant echoes at worldsoul memories.

We get 4 a week from doing the weekly quests. The first two cache’s you open are supposed to have guaranteed veteran gear (I believe its veteran). The first four you open are guaranteed Restored Coffer Keys.
Although, I felt like I was swimming in coffer keys in season 1, and now it feels like famine. Maybe it’s just me. I know I had skipped using them for a while because my toon didn’t need anything from Delves, but when the season ended I had like 40+ coffer keys. Am I in a fever dream or does it feel like the key drop rate was nerfed with season 2?

You can still do all the S1 stuff for keys like the theater event, watching the dwarf’s back while he communes with the machine, radiant farmville, etc.

If you open your wax weekly quest it will screw you out of a veteran piece and give you an explorer piece instead. If you open it 3rd or later out of the pinnacle boxes… it will still give you the piece, essentially giving you a 3rd piece of loot. its the lowest and typically sucks… but if you want free gold or a DE item… yah
The difference is we had several weeks to earn keys before we could use them, so we had a bunch stored when delves were released. We also stopped using them once we no longer needed champion gear.
Maybe that’ll be less true this season because of the Delver’s Bounty change and being able to earn hero gear every week. Hard to say.
Makes sense. Thanks for the response! I hate feeling like I’m in a key drought, but gearing is so much faster this season that it just feels like I’m in a drought.
