Keyboard suggest - Butterfly, scissor or MX keys styles?

I love the pockets MX keys have, and I love you have to bottom out these to trigger them.

What I don’t like - 16ms-30ms input lag depending on which keyboard you get… Which is way too much to hit the 30hz refresh rate of MMOs or some FPS.

I am looking for an upgrade. I need less than 6ms multikey key-release input latency. It seems you can only get that with HE or the 1 blackwidow v4 75% - but it has PCB problems and its not a great keyboard. It’s also not Low Profile/Slim and that is an absolute requirement of mine. As is being able to swap switches. Bottom out is not a requirement if they feel like browns/cherries. But 6ms, and the other things listed are an absolute must! So is tru n-key rollover.

So what do I go? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D72VPZWF?tag=bravesoftwa04-20&linkCode=osi&th=1&psc=1&language=en_US seems decent and apparently you can set it to bottom out before being triggered. The only problem is I have no input latency specs anywhere. I also do not trust that simply bottoming them out, will make them feel like Logitech Mx Keys. Just taking their word for it that the 8000hz polling rate has lower latency. I’ve seen rtings keyboards with 8000hz polling and some of them still have 8-10ms of multikey key release input lag - which is very sad. It means the PCB and engineering is not right on the board at all. In-fact some 1000hz boards have less than some of the 8000hz boards. So I’m not sure what the point of 8000hz is even at this point. This ZENAIM Keyboard TKL also seems to have very big keys, not small like Keychron S1 and I would not consider it “Slim” by any means. Thinking I’m checking it off my list but not sure.

It’s very unfortunate you can’t get keycaps with circle pockets in them like you can with Logitech mx keys. I would love that. The only reason I don’t use logitech mx keys is the terrible latency and no true n-key rollover.

I’ve used Keychron k3 max slim and keychron S1 slim and they are very good, the only problem is they are 8.7ms multikey key release latency and I need something under 6ms or just above 6ms.

Requirements:
Low Profile Switches
Slim Profile Keycaps
Feels exactly like Cherry or
Feels like Logitech MX Keys or Apple with bottom out to trigger
Under 6ms Multi Key - Key “Release” Latency
Tru N-key Rollover
Larger okay, if its very close together and under 15" wide

Preferred:
Hot swappable switches
Swappable Key Caps
Mac compatible
Under 14" wide.
Circle holes for finger Key Caps like Logitech MX Keys has or something indented, slim profile’d keycaps.

ps - Desperately searching for a new keyboard because if I can’t find one, I probably won’t be building a New PC at all and have to return these parts I bought by July 1st.

Still dunno what to do, not thinking of building a computer anymore. The parts gotta be returned soon I ordered and I’ve already ordered like $5000 of parts 3x gpu’s and all sorts of crap and returned them because I learn something new everyday about the parts I’ve ordered.

Funny, I’m not the only one who I’ve talked to recently who has done the same thing LOL.

It’s not easy with all the problems in these modern systems to just put something together lol. Too many issues without reading 100s of reviews and watch tech videos from the “experts” on them and sometimes the experts do not even know, so there is that, rofl.

Too many factors, bad ASROCK - the only mobo that supports dual gpu well really rn… unless you get a riser cable or go x670e instead of x870e… Ugh!!! So much, not enough to gain from my 5800x and 7850HD, I had a 3070 but I traded it in under the idea I would build a new one, now I am leaning against it.

Might just get an external SSD and dual boot win 10/11 on 2 separate drives and use win 10 for music production/testing older software that might still be compatible with 10 but not 11, and win 11 for maybe games and other workflows. Sigh. That way I do not need to desperately find a keyboard so fast and I can spend the next 10 years trying to LOL.
