Keyboard suddenly not responding / locking up in chat windows

Hi all - please help me!

Having an issue where when I’m typing in any chat window, (/party, /general, /raid, /say, /guild) halfway through a sentence my keyboard will stop responding. Totally random behavior. Happens in dungeons, questing, whereever.

I mean, totally unresponsive, stuck. I can’t escape, i cant exit out, i can’t do anything. ALl i can do is Ctrl-alt-del and restart WoW.

I have tried deleting cache/Ui folders a few times. and rebuilding my UI. No luck. Also tried repairing the app.

Current addons used:
Weak Auras
DBM
Plater
Clicked
Shadowed Unit Frames

Did you rename the AddOn folder in Interface?

Yes I did. In that I renamed the “Interface” folder to “OldInterface” which has the addon folder inside.

Do you have keyboard software that could be interfering? or a Discord overlay?
