Keybinds and non combative keyboard turning

Curious as to your recommended key bindings for warrior stance changes, and hunter pet in/out. If you’re using mouse wheel up/down for hunter pet in/out then what did you rebind camera in/out to?

Also curious to your thoughts on (non-combative) keyboard turning?

Specifically while chatting with auto-run on (neither hand is on the mouse) while wanting to make slight adjustments to your trajectory?

Or long sessions of panning camera to scout while moving? (You can’t pan in one direction while turning in another direction using only your mouse. However, you can do this using the mouse to pan and keyboard to turn).

Do you give up these QoL features in order to gain the important keybind real estate of “A” and “D”?

Or did you rebind left/right turn to something else?

I know you can use arrow keys, but it’s not comfortable to chat while sporadically using arrow keys.

Appreciate your thoughts,

Gus

One stance, big sword, lots of cussing. Smoking a cigar. Only MS on keyboard.

If you die, blame the healer.

I like using the F-keys for stances/pet management. How comfortable that is really depends on the layout of your keyboard

I remap A and D to strafe, and use Q and E for binds. You can set your camera to not auto-adjust while running, so you can look behind you while you’re running and leave the camera facing that way long enough to type something.

You’ll be stance-dancing a lot in PvP as a warrior, so I would recommend binding those to something easily accessible. If you’ve got a 12-button or MMO mouse, those buttons would be great. Or something like Shift + 1-3, F1-F3, etc.

I keybind auto run to T and middle mouse and that’s it O_O

Im about to change your life

Shift mouse wheel up and shift mouse wheel down

for pets in/out or warrior battle/defensive

Love that idea.

I’m left handed, so I use the arrow keys to move forward and strafe. However, Ctrl-Left Arrow and Ctrl-Right Arrow, turn me left and right, instead of strafing left and right with Left Arrow and Right Arrow. It allows me to drive without the mouse when there’s nothing of danger.
