Greetings. Just wondering what I’m doing wrong…
My Key is set at lvl 11 and I’ve done a few M+ dungeons (not my own group, only invited) up to lvl 14, yet my key lvl is still the same.
Is my key supposed to automatically go up on it’s own after dungeon completion or am I doing something incorrectly?
Any and all info is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.
Your key doesn’t go up if you do someone else’s key. Your key only goes up a level(s) if you complete your own key from your own inventory.
Ahhhh, so if I were to do 20+ keys with other, my key level would still be the same, no matter what? That kinda bites.
So one is forced to used his/her own key to get an upgrade? No other options?
Well, you can do other people’s keys and still get rewards like loot and whatnot, but in order for your key to progress it’s better to do your own key overall. Because you can decide who you want or who you don’t want.
Nobody is forced to use their own key, but if you want to be in control of who you invite or whatever then yeah you should use your own key.

your key cant grow if it’s not used. HOWEVER, next week you’ll get a key based on your highest run. regardless of what you did with your key.

They should add in something that lvls ur personal key if u run someone else’s, like if I have a lvl 5 key and I’m running others keys that are higher then at the end of the run should get something like the spark fragments that if u combine them it lvls ur own key as well
