Key depletion needs to go away

Why? Because it makes people stop playing.

Me and most raiders in my guild are at a point now where Myth track progression gear is our only way of progressing and many of us need selective drops. So what happens, if we do a +10 and we invite a new person or someone who’s a bit shaky on the role, the key bricks. And that’s ok - no one’s mad. Completion is 90% of it. No stress, no anger at anyone.

So that happens 4 times, the runs are a little rough, we miss the window by a couple of minutes… me and 3 others are sitting here with +9 keys.

Rather than run these dungeons with no expectation of getting anything we need, we just stop for the week and go play other games - 2 vault slots will have to do.

I suspect I’ll get some people in here who will say: “That’s the price you pay for sucking” or “you still get credit for clearing, you should be grateful”. Fair enough, but just thought I’d provide the feedback since I don’t believe key depletion was designed in Mythic+ when there were such pronounced breakpoints, where running a +10 is useful and a +9 is basically useless to most folks I’d group with. And I’m sure this exists at +7 and absolutely existed in +12 and above (where Blizzard rolled out a solution for that - so they are at least aware of the problem on some level).

I suspect you’re overthinking things. Don’t play the mind reader because there isn’t a soul on Earth who does this. And if they try, they’re a complete clown.

I agree AND it should be harder to go up a level. If I barely time a 6, do not give me a 7. You should have to 2 chest a level to go up by 1, until level 10 when it should work normally.

Is it really mind reading when you’ve been on this forum enough?

I love it when the universe makes my point for me.

Have you considered git gud?

But like if you were better u could have timed them

Right?

I’d be fine with this if failed runs didn’t count towards the vault or give drops. Right now, M+ is the only content to give full gear from failed runs, instead reducing the keystone level. If you take away the penalty of failure, it shouldn’t still give the loot rewards.

Nah ill stick with a depeleted key and still have a vault slot filled ty

Why does failure needs additional consequences other than failing?

Yea but have you considered the cost involved in your skill levels around mythics and how you may actually still receive some form of compensation for merely seeing the dungeon through to completion and should possibly be thankful at some level for it?

“The universe”?

So what, I’m some galactic entity?

… that’d be pretty cool, but I’m here on Earth.

You can be whatever you wanna be my sir and/or madam.

Why do you think you need to be rewarded for failing. Guess what keys fail all the time. Stop being a baby and either git gud or buy some carries. :violin:

No it doesnt.

SO level one back up to a 10

The issue is that even failing is super rewarding

How often do people run content that isn’t rewarding for them? Would just rather not play until next Tuesday. Which brings me to the point.

Because it comes with the addition of full loot, unlike anything else in game.

So what? Why does it bother you?

You are the one asking for a change to make it easier for you to get loot, not me.
