This implies a sample size of 3,661,400 TIMED runs (teams of 5) so far this season. I’m guessing they’re happy with the participation rate and don’t care so much about the number of +10 keys that are being timed (150,362 ranks from +10 to top). They clearly wanted to make that harder than +20s from DF because my guess would be the +7 affix is bricking keys left & right.

so for the record, you’re not going to bother to describe any specific complaints or suggestions you have. You are just going to assume a stat you dont know is “bad” and make a snarky post.

they reduced the amount of steps but made the steps very big.
doesnt change much except it’s harder for new m+ enjoyers to get into it.
the learning curve got more steep.
seems at odds with the general direction of wow. oh well.

I linked the leaderboard that is Timed Runs Only… maybe you’re talking about the 8.5M number, so you’d be right: the Timed Run Leader board has 3,661,400 ranks for teams of 5 for timed runs. Sorry for the error.

Link you shared shows 3.6 Million timed runs in 3 weeks, vs the what, 3.2 million in Dragonflight and Shadowlands week 1 alone.
By week 3 in both cases, there were nearly twice as many timed keys.

to be fair… literally the M+ is basically for IO only now. don’t have to do them to get gear anymore thanks to delves. 90% of all my gear is from lvl 8 delves and the subsequent vault loot. Got a couple pieces from raid of course but alas, no need to worry about M+ until I care if my ilvl is above 620’ish after I get all the runed crests I need. I mean they could be used to “farm” crests faster than the 2 you get from a solo delve, but can do every delve every day ALONE and in peace so WHY bother doing M+ now?
So, to compare TWW M+ numbers to DF is actually irrelevant since DF didn’t have any other options for crests / gear / vault. I get it though.
M+ is for io only?
Tell me about all of those mythic track vault slots and gilded crests you’re getting from delves.

Maybe it has to do with the squish… Completing M0s so you are geared enough to get into +2s is like doing +10s (the new M0) to get into +12s (the new +2s). What was DF (pre-squish) and SL in “week 1 alone” at +12s? Probably not 3.2M as that likely included +2s (which are what… heroic dungeons now?).
Pugging feels terrible. Even today I joined a full Mythic+ team to push my own +9 key like everyone suggested…24+ deaths before the third boss on Grim Batol (none of which were me). The Gilded Crests need to be moved down to +8s or even +7s allow us to gear up for the +9s and +10s. Otherwise the majority of the playerbase is just going to max out their current champion/hero track loot as much as they can and then just quit. And we will see the drop off in keys soon if the problem is ignored.

I won’t lie, KSM is much more difficult to reach for me this time around. I’ll get there eventually! But man it can be hard.
Voidbound Affix is absolute garbage on keys +10 and above. NW had a 91% completion rate last week, and this week it is only 39%.

This was an issue back in shadowlands as well. On tyrannical the entire dungeon revolves around stitchflesh. If you don’t nail it the first time with all the weapons, auto-fail the key.
Sorry. I stopped here because this is ridiculous. If you want people to read your post, don’t start with something so dumb.
so do tell what gear or anything else we need to do keys for other than a trinket or maybe ring that I haven’t simply gotten from vault or delve loot. I’ll wait for your most educated answer there genius.
OH, and don’t use the played out you need “gilded crest”, that ONLY if you care to completely max out your ilvl and also the Mythic loot from a +9 excuse is also for the people that “care” if they have the max gear. Most of us just play to play and you can’t stand that can you since you’re so elite and all?? Go back to watching RWF replays so you can get the mythic raid done now.
