I’m just gonna be honest, this boss sucks. By and far this boss is the most confusing in the raid, and in a really bad way. Everything I look up, between YouTube guides and written guides, has no consistency because nobody can actually tell how half of this fight works.
I’ve got people saying “When you get slept he casts a shadow of himself into a priestess and that one drops the portal,” I’ve got others saying you have to kill 5 Priestesses every time, I’ve got others saying it’s completely random and you can kill 1 or you can kill 8. I’ve got people saying the Mind Blast splashes but I can play through multiple pulls where only a single person in melee ever takes damage from the casts.
I don’t mind difficult, I don’t mind needing to break out consumables to make stuff happen. But what I do mind is just straight up mystery mechanics bc it’s so unclear what’s going on.
