No which is what makes it extremely interesting that only the only race we helped from bFa out there is the kelfin.
No, we need Hozen or Ogres
It is really odd that Blizz decided not to have the Ankoan show up for Alliance folk but have the Kelfin hanging out.
Really hope something comes of it. Theyâre a much more interesting race than most.
Nothing about this threatens the inclusion of hozen or ogres in any way. Unless you think that it only certain requested allied races can happen at a given time.
That darned slots idea.
Wish theyâd never had it like that⌠Everything is competition now.
That is how it tends to be. Unfortunately it is particularly nasty when said aggressors outnumber a smaller fanbase.
Kinda bummed nothing has shown up yet.
Hey, they are good and all, i guess⌠But, i think we SHOULD have some other things before, like the only horde race that is not playable.
We need OGRES.
Only if I can shrink-ray their entire population. They are just too tall!
Go let em know you support em in the Ogre thread. Theyâd love to know youâre on their side.
Personally Ogres arenât my bag⌠I mean Iâll have one when they finally become playable, but Iâm much more interested in the Kelfin and the Unshackled.
Careful with that Gnomish tech⌠Probably wont explode but their side effects are so much worse!
Iâm old hat at using both Goblin and Gnomish tech sir. Gnomes are friends!
I donât really see the inclusion of kelfin as a threat to ogres in any way. Blizzard could choose to roll out a bunch of new races one day and ogres could also be one of them.
Kinda bummed nothing has shown up yet.
Sadly if kelfin will be playable someday, we will probably be waiting a while because to have them as an allied race, could mean no earlier then later Shadowlands. To have them as a custom option is not ideal though.
Yeah thats true. Wish Blizz would be more open about when they expect to give us ARâs again.
Plus there is sea giants in the unshackled. Maybe ogres could get some kind of sea giant customization or be an interesting tie in with added ogres.
Now that would be fun!
I have to be honest. I am a bit worried the unshackled will be leaving when prepatch hits without any sort of final closure like a cutscene quest or something. It would be nice to see them hang around. On the bright side though, I suppose from a lore standpoint they could be happier that way. Hard to say. Maybe they are too nice for the horde? Idk.
I donât know, I bet theyâll stick around.
Why do you think theyâd leave?
A thought occurred to me about the Unshackled. Seeing as theyâve been underwater for the most part, it may take some time for them to be comfortable running around on land (as mentioned by one Gilblin in Nazjatar stating the difficulty in walking on land).
If the rumors of a time skip are true, then we could see them having been use to being above water long enough to be able to start exploring above-water areas. Of course, they would prefer to be near water when possible.
Iâll help keep an eye out for them as we continue in expansions. I really hope they officially join the Horde, as there are a lot of great story possibilities with them. Especially in aquatic areas.
They said that they are coming to visit. This may mean they wonât stick around forever. I still wonder what their exact purpose in being there is and if there is anything further going to be happening with them. I hope they donât leave.
The question here being what being free means. As Iâve mentioned before, Azshara is now loose and plotting things again, so the oceans are fairly dangerous. Iâm assuming Nazjatar will have submerged again, and I donât know if the Unshackled can reside there or if they have to find a new home.
Itâs why I feel like there is a mutual benefit to the Unshackled joining the Horde. That way, they can have a home near allies, who can come help if the naga ever decide to attack any Horde territories. Not to mention how practical having aquatic units on your side is in general.
I donât think their story is over, and I hope it continues. We may have to beat up Sylvanas and the Jailer to see what happens with them. Who knows? Maybe there are some undead underwater that the Unshackled can help fight against.
