Since it has never happened before with any of the expansions for any notable amount of time, I just wanted to voice that it would be really cool to see the meta evolve for Classic. I want to see what plateauing the game will do. I think it could be really fun!
I know people are probably waiting for transmog and Classic Karazhan and stuff like that, but I personally want to see the endgame evolve and refine into it’s perfect form! Let me know what you think!
I’m not excited for TBC, I like a world before flying mounts, but I also don’t trust 2020 blizzard to come out with new classic content

I think that you’re asking people to trust Blizzard of 2020 to make games like they did in 2004. You’re not going to find many people for that.
Bring on Classic TBC and Classic WotLK, which are known quantities, while Blizzard does Shadowlands, and probably the next expansion, whatever it is, to see if they’ve learned how to make good games again before thinking about new content for the Classic Trilogy.

the vocal majority of the game are meta slaves. As soon as they run out of content to smash they ree.
The devs are doing a great job not giving in to these people, but it’s hard. People are already creating minmax characters FOR TBC, ITS NOT EVEN CONFIRMED. It’s disgusting.
I expect them to start some kind of petition of “oh we already have 10+ guilds of people geared to do tbc, please release tbc”. It’s gonna be so cringe.
We waited years for this version of the game and some people just wanna speedrun it. It’s sickening.

People like you make no sense.
They don’t have to do anything besides create new dungeons/raids. Something they’ve excelled at for some time. Most of the complaints about retail have nothing to do with raiding/dungeons themselves.
It’s not impossible for the right now blizzard to create good content if they stick to the basics.

Will be the same people who speed through TBC for a fake “world first” and say how easy it is.
