Old HO build from Season 2 is still viable but there’s nothing that’s matching KiR’s DPS.
As stated, HO is technically usable, but the loss this season is significant compared to previous seasons. Neither of the tier set options really help HO function, and the extra buff uptime from KiR, since neither tier set provides buff padding like the last one did, amounts to a lot of extra uptime across the board. So, you could run it, but you’ll be doing a lot less damage than you’d expect.
Tbf, from what I played of it, it wasn’t -a lot- less. Although maybe some dungeons just benefit from it more, (mostly tried it out in DB) but at least from what I noticed it feels like slightly less of a DPS loss than say the build that drops GS for 2 FTH.
I think the bigger problem is that it just doesn’t feel remotely good to play any more and it’s a sure way to get finger cramp while praying for half decent rolls.
Roll the bones is a curse outlaw will never get rid of as blizz is obsessed with it.
The new version of RTB on midnight alpha looks like the OG version of Legion alpha minus the utility.
The problem is single buff rolls being stronger means that of the four buffs one or two will be preferable and you will be back to fishing buffs again or it seems.
It’s still the fact you need this one goofy move that you have to spam a few times to have a small moment of glory then you’re back to wet noodle smacking.
Yeah the lack of multiple buffs means that you might be back to fishing for a buff for max performance. That is the downside with single buff rolls.
Fishing for TB was a thing in Legion and it might happen in midnight fishing for Triple Threat (CDR) but we will see.
frankly that just t ells me youve never played outlaw
