It’s just not the same without it.

It should be in classic, it shares the same map file as Kalimdor, unless Blizzard is really changing the classic maps then I am not pleased…
Would they really stop there? Or are they going to patch all the entryways into Hyjal and the Airport too…
Given the complete separation, it’s an easy removal without having to affect anything else in the game.
Yes. Slippery Slope Fallacies are fallacious.
No need. Wall Jumping is not possible any more, so they’re already “fixed”
I don’t want to be banned.
They can’t ban all of us brother.
Famous last words.
Its still there. Go check it out on stress test.
It’ll probably still be there… but what difference does it even make? You can’t go there.
They don’t need an island anymore. For all 3 GM’s that will be working the game, they created a hut in Hyjal. The GM shanty.
They’ve got a private island?!
Typical 1% GMs oppressing the playerbase. Grab your gear, fellas, we’ve got a protest to stage!
#OccupyThrallStreet
#StormGMisland, they can’t ban all of us.
You going to Area 51 too?
It’s really boring.
GM Island will be there and just as easy to get to at launch, Have fun.
I’ve been there. It is just an extremely tiny little island with a human style house, a small pier, and a boat. Once you’ve seen it the splendor wears off in a couple of minutes.
I always thought that, seeing as Classic is a museum piece, what if they added a proper way to get there, and then added the avatars of past (very well known) GMs? Like, you go there and there’s Tseric’s old toon, wandering around. Interesting way to honour GMs that moved on long ago. Don’t know if they’d actually be able to do it, mind you, because where would you find their old toons?

Not asking for a change. Just thought it would be a neat little way to remember former vanilla-era employees.
That’s literally asking for a change. lol
Wasn’t actually asking for them to do it, though. Couldn’t really care less what they do with the island. It was more of a “If they do do something, why not make it a tribute?”.
I believe if you fall through the ground there, you can enter a white box that I can’t remember the name of.
