Keep getting "The memory could not be 'written'" error and crash

Last night I was able to play the game normally with no issues. As of today, without any updates to windows or anything else, my game crashes everytime it gets to the character select screen. I have the following error:
Program: B:\Blizzard\World of Warcraft_retail_\Wow.exe
Exception: ACCESS_VIOLATION - the instruction at
“0x00007ff75ca27a7d” referenced memory at
“0x000001c50afe0058”,
The memory could not be “written”.

Have wow running on its own SSD, so have plenty of space there.

I have tried repairing wow, clearing the cache, WTF, and interface folders, have run a ram diagnostic (came back clear), as well as closing all outside programs (such as discord and NVIDIA Geforce programs. Still nothing. Cant really figure out what to do at this point. Would love some help.

Access violation errors are from Windows, not the game client or Bnet. Try a new admin account on Windows, you may have a permission issue on the directory where it needs to access game assets.

Tried creating an admin account and opening it there and it didnt work there either. Also made sure the file was read/write. Updated the bios today as well. No luck.

You reinstalled after making the account?

Not yet. Ill give it a try

Sadly this didnt seem to help either. Also, says i cant try returning to a previous version of windows, since it’s been longer than 10 days since the last update. No idea what may have caused this…

My fix was replacing ram

Is this an external drive? Is it the correct format (NTFS and not exFAT)? Ideally Bnet should be on C drive and games should be for best performance.
