You might be on to something honestly, given their logs aren’t all that impressive. I’m not a great player by any means and here’s my logs from back when I played on this character on Skyfury.
Edit: I was gonna link my WCL to show how they are actually quite comparable, but my Trust rank or whatever isn’t high enough. Unforutnetly. You can look up “Tuula” on Skyfury to see my parses though.

Ilvl 238 pvp is better than pve 200, and by getting all that 238 (and sometimes better in the case of a 264 cape and 245 boots) you can start farming Gamma’s for frosts and triumphs to buy set pieces and scourgestones more effeciently.
I refuse to believe you yourself even geared up the way you’re suggesting people to. Nobody is gonna be out here grinding 100’s of normal heroics to buy gear so you people can find another reason to kick them.

Why are you speedrunning gammas in LFD without a full group? Sounds like YOU are doing something outside the scope of the game and are mad you have to play an MMORPG with other people. Also nice dodge. Never answers questions, just trolls.

I’ve said multiple times that 220 is a fair item level. I’m not kicking for <5K GS like some, but there’s a clear difference between someone running gammas for 225s when they’re a 210 ilvl DPS and when they’re farming stones at >240 ilvl

Not only this, but someone can queue for a “normal” heroic, get one of the ICC dungeons, and be grouped with players who queued for “Gamma”. The Gamma queuers then vote kick the person that queued normal heroic for having a GS that’s “too low” when no one would care in any of the other normal heroic dungeons.

Seeing as the one player is cheesing their ilvl with PVP gear and the other is just showing up while still needing to run the content, I’m going to go with the 220 in PVE gear
ilvl is arbitrary anyway. I already gave plenty of examples where lower ilvl gear is better than higher ones. Shadow Priest 2 piece set from ulduar is better than TOGC even on heroic (unless you have all 4 pieces heroic), plenty of ilvl 200 trinkets and gear from newer dungeons and some old content are better than everything short of ICC (and some of them are even good then cough Greatness cough)
At the end of the day, the lazy person is them using gearscore as a metric for performance and skill instead of bothering to actually understand gear at all.

Then what’s the gearscore? If you’re constantly kicking undergeared players as you claim then you should have an immediate idea of what the actual gearscore number is. I think you’re just lying about literally everything in this thread to troll people.

238 pvp is better than 200.
Hell, I’d even argue it’s better than the 213 junk you get in the dungeons. Maybe even 219 from heroic ToC.
You lose out on 1 side stat, for a dead stat which is unfortunate but that’s why it’s temporary gear. This isn’t raid, this isn’t ICC. It’s dungeons to farm Gamma’s to get Triumphs/Scourgestones to replace those PvP pieces.
You want somebody to grind for a week doing obsolete content whereas I can grind out a full set of 238 in a day and start effeciently grinding Scourgestones along with Triumps AND Frosts.
But no “I’m happy with 220 ilvl”

I did this with my Frost DK, I outdps some people better geared then me. In PvE gear, not all the time mind you, and nobody’s ever kicked me because GS looks good. I’ve been doing the dungeons for scourgestones and bought Death’s Choice, and got enough frost emblem for my T10 shoulders. I’m replacing the pvp pieces, the difference is I’m doing it effeciently instead of the peak idiocy you’re suggesting.
